Total scam. Charged me for a prescription appointment and waited until after I had paid to inform me they don't offer the medication I need at the dose I need. The site says they do - until you've paid

Super happy I remembered about GoodRX right when I was about to pay a high price for a prescription. I immediately searched for a coupon on GoodRX and basically paid half of the amount I was initially going to pay!

Found this company on the web and thought it was to good to be true and it really is to good to be true. Tried to get 3 prescriptions from Costco and non of the discounts worked. They outright did not accept one of them and the price for the other two were more than I paid to my outrageous insurance company. DON’T BOTHER.

Doesn't cover anything why would it not cover basis prescription such as thyroid or antidepressant meds

I cried when the pharmacist told me about goodRx. Lost my job and the medication was going to cost $200. I ended up walking out of there paying $20. Yes there is a huge problem with drug pricing but until this issue is address, I will gladly take any discount I can get. Have been extremely happy and I can afford the medications my families needs while I find a job with benefits.

I own an independent pharmacy, and can assure you the good Rx is a giant scam. Example: Good Rx user - "Walmart was going to charge me $186 for 90 days of generic Crestor... with the GoodRx, I only paid $53... Thanks Good Rx!" Reality - 90 days of generic Crestor cost Walmart about $12.00. They were going to charge you $186 because "Walmart has a $4 generic drug program, so they must be giving me the best price I can get, and they would never rip me off." In comes the good Rx - "let us help you fight the rising cost of prescription drugs, use our "free discount card"... (we'll take about $10 of that $53 you just paid, because we're reasonable people and deserve to get paid for adding another layer of deception to drug prices)." End of the day - Walmart makes about $30, and Good Rx makes about $10 on a prescription that we would have sold you for about $20 Updated 9/6/19 - please note the automated response by GoodRx - they couldn't even be bothered to actually read the review... LIES! DOES NOT WORK! I called SIX different pharmacies to see if they accept GoodRX for my pain, sleep and anxiety meds and they all flat out told me NO! The pharmacies I called were: Target/CVS on Arden Way in Sacramento, CA Walmart Pharmacy on Marconi Ave in Sacramento,CA Safeway Pharmacy on Arden Way in Sacramento, CA And two different SaveMart Pharmacies in Sacramento and in Carmichael, CA. As a last resort, I called the actual CVS store and the pharmacist told me they accepted GoodRX at their location but the pricing on the coupon would be totally different because of the manufacturer of the drugs. Apparently GoodRX quotes the cheapest price but the pharmacy might not have that manufacturer in stock which means the pricing will be different. My insurance runs out at the end of the month and I’m screwed. I was so sure GoodRX would a viable option, I guess not. Even my doctors were convinced that GoodRX works. I’m meeting with two of my doctors next week and will let them know that GoodRX is bogus and not to tell their patient it works because it doesn’t.
