Hy-vee does not honor my good RX. They have there owe and the price is different. They will not honor lower price. They use to but something has changed in the past 6 months.

I was having mild UTI symptoms, and decided to schedule a goodrx care virtual visit to prevent any serious infection from occuring. Location and finances make urgent care/emergency visits too expensive, so $40 seemed like a good price for the virtual visit to get a quick set of antibiotics to knock this out. Instead, I was charged $40 for the "nurse practitioner" to tell me in one text message that they are sorry to disappoint me, but they couldn't help me and according to their advice, I "urgently" needed to go to the emergency room. I immediately requested a refund. Instead of going to the ER, I ended up scheduling a virtual visit with another urgent care provider ten minutes later, who used video chat, addressed my needs and concerns, and prescribed me a course of antibiotics and also sent me information for a urinalysis in less than 10 minutes. The complete and total difference in patient care I received from that provider instead of goodrx care was astronomical. From my experience, goodrx care seems more like a scam than anything. On top of that, I also just noticed I'm still being charged for my goodrx gold membership a year and a few months after my dog passed away (only got it for him), so I suppose I have to call my bank about those charges, as well.
