Love that I could search by breed and a radius around me. I chose 3 pups. 2 were available and one of the two went above and beyond. John May of Mayday Quality Poodles went above and beyond with his messages. He answered all my questions no matter how small.

The breeder, Adam, made the entire process incredibly easy, fast, and pleasant. He went above and beyond, answering every single question I had.

Found puppy we were looking for. Contact with breeder is great. Making payments easy. Waiting to pickup pup, the waiting is hard, but he just turned 8 weeks old.

I posted a prior review of Good Dog and was told someone would reach out. No one has. Here is my review of Good Dog and the breeder review they will not allow me to post on their site because the breeder allowed me to make final payment directly to her. Did not know this would be an issue. From MD and flew to Chicago to pick up puppy and drive back. All pics I received showed an Old English Sheepdog. On the day of pickup something seemed off. Within 1st 2 weeks this puppies appearance changed so much that I had a DNA test done. While the test came back 100% the puppies features did not show that. Results were escalated to a genetic specialist. The results: while the DNA shows 100% the puppy is so poorly bred that the standard furnishings (coat, beard, mustache) have been lost. I thought Good Dog screened to keep representation of a breed. One look at the puppies from the prior litter would have shown them this was not the case. This breeder is now ghosting me and refuse to make this right. I am unable to ware other potential customers because I didn’t make final payment through GD so they could take their cut. Guess money is more important than breed standards! Sad.

As we still attempt to retrieve the partial refund from the breeder (Shaylee Largent) at Good Dog. We had contacted Good Dog in search of a 100% Long Hair Chihuahua. In turn, Good Dog passed our contact information to their breeder Shaylee Largent who told us she had exactly what we were looking for and said we could meet her that following weekend. As directed by Shaylee we attempted to make the required down payment on the Good Dog website. When their system did not work multiple times, Shaylee a trained certified breeder for Good Dog told us to make the down down payment to Grandmother's bank account which we did because we didn't want to lose the Dog. Because again, she was a trained Good Dog breeder referred to us by Good Dog. Seven months later and here we are. The dog has turned out to be NOT 100% chihuahua, but only 36% chihuahua with 13 other breeds. The breeder has disappeared with no contact and Good Dog has been doing nothing but tap dancing trying to avoid responsibility saying we didn't follow their correct procedures. WE TRIED TO BUT THEIR SYSTEM WAS DOWN. AND THEIR TRAINED CERTIFIED BREEDER, THAT GOOD DOG HAD GIVEN OUR NUMBER TO, TOLD US TO PERFORM A DIFFERENT ROUTE, TO AVOID LOSING THE DOG. Which is what we did. So long story short. We got screwed by Good Dog and their breeder, Shaylee. Shaylee is no longer answering any of our methods of contact. Good Dog is not answering any of my phone calls. Still tap dancing and trying to put the blame on anyone besides themselves. And we are still waiting on a 50% refund on a dog that was supposed to be a max of 9 lbs and is already 14 lbs.

Hi Michael, Thank you for reaching out again. While we understand how upsetting these results were, as our Care team already discussed with you, we're unfortunately unable to assist with refunding transactions that occur outside of our platform, as we have no involvement in, visibility into, or control over private transactions. However, providing a safe and positive experience for everyone in our community is our top priority, which is why our team conducted a thorough investigation to ensure our standards are enforced. While we understand the technical issues you experienced when going to make your payment were frustrating, all buyers are made aware of, and must agree to adhere to Good Dog's On-Platform Payment Policy before contacting any breeders through our platform. We continue to wish you nothing but the best. Warmly, The Good Dog Team
We tried to make an account with them and they flat out refused us. We are ethical dog parents and breeders. They demanded we have an “online presence” or we couldn’t sign up with them. When we told them we didn’t use Facebook or Instagram they told us to take a hike! We offered our AKC registration account information and a link to our profile and they ignored use and refused to talk any further. DO NOT sign up with them unless you want full investigative invasive practices. A link to AKC and registration is all we had and it wasn’t good enough.

Hi Luis, Thank you for reaching out. We’re glad that a member of our Screening Team was already able to connect with you about this and provide more information as to why proof of online presence is one of the many factors in our comprehensive screening process. As they shared with you, our Screening Team evaluates each program prior to approval to ensure our Community Standards, Good Breeder Code of Ethics, and Policies are upheld. While we understand that not all breeders will have available information regarding their program online, this provides additional insight into a breeder’s program that helps to better protect our community. As previously mentioned, during our review of your program, we were unfortunately not able to find enough conclusive information regarding your program to move forward in our screening process. If you would like to provide any additional information regarding your breeding program, including sharing a link to your AKC registration, please feel free to reply to the latest email we sent you. We continue to wish you all the best with your program! Warmly, The Good Dog Screening Team
My new puppy has roundworms. Couldn’t reach anyone that works with GoodDog to tell them about it.
