Stay away from this bank! The worst! Credited me $1 instead of $50 Refer-a-friend bonus as advertised. And my referred friend received $1 as well despite we both got email saying that we earned $50 reward. Contacted customer rep and case was opened then closed for no reason. Such incompetent and dishonest bank. Regretted referring my friend. Don't recommend this bank to anyone!! Nothing but headache.

Customer service states 3 days for funds to post to your account. Did a $40 transfer from outside institution. Four business days have passed & $40 isn’t in GO 2 bank. What a horrible/unethical company!

My federal tax refund from the irs was sent to the bank tax max uses to get the money owed for doing my taxes and forwarded to my go2bank account on February 26th 2025, I have confirmed and triple confirmed that the money was sent from both the irs and Tax max to go2bank account. It's now March 1 2025 and my refund is still not deposited in to my go2bank account. I have messaged the useless customer service several times just to get a generic response and no explanation of where the money is. They said they didn't reject it and don't see it pending. I double checked to make sure I put all the correct go2bank details on the card account correctly and I did. So my only answer is go2bank stole my money

On 1/27/25 Go2Bank sent me a text telling me that my SSI payment posted. I wasn't home at the time but when I got home, I checked my account and found I had a grand total of $7.46 in my account. I immediately called the bank to see what happened. They claim that I used my debit card at some place called Rewards Marketplace. Up until this moment I've never heard of the place. Not only that, but my debit card was showing as unlocked, which I never do unless I'm actually going to use it to buy something. I pointed this out to the woman I was speaking with and she totally ignored me. So the next thing I know, this woman closed my account and sent me the $7.46 that was still left in my account. I asked her when I would get my money back and I was told it would take up to 45 days for the "bank" to do their investigation and that I may or may not get my money back. Needless to say, I didn't get my money back. Most likely because after calling them, more than once, I asked them who they were protecting. After the 6th call, I actually got a person who told me the bank finished their investigation and they came to the conclusion that I made those purchases. I asked the woman how they came to that conclusion and I wanted it in writing. Yesterday I got a letter from Green Dot Corporation, Go2Bank's parent company, giving me their reasons. They said that since I had both my card and my phone in my possession, I made the purchases. So I'm SOL for getting my money back and I'm out $470. I would advise anyone contemplating opening an account with them to avoid it like the plague.

They have had my account locked for more than a year. I've tried calling, I was told that I had to close my account unlock my funds. But I can't close the account because the account is locked. So, they keep sending me in circles to keep my money in the account. I have placed a dispute last year, and yet to receive any response. I guess I'm going to have to do What I did to Secure Spend when they frauded me for $200 (they eventually gave it back, though). OMB #3170-0011: ID FOR COMPLAINT SENT TO GO2 BANK 250221-18892797

Horrible. I have a secured credit card with them. Meaning I added my own funds for them to report to the credit companies.. they have charged me an exorbitant amount of fees on my own money lol it’s a joke. How is my balance $783 on a credit limit of $415.. which is my own funds lol.

Trash service. I guess I'll take my money to a bank that actually wants it.

This is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen or dealt with do not waste your time with these people! They are useless! Deactivated my card then could not explain why I could not get access to funds from my account with their barcodes. Everytime it referred me back to them when it was denied. Their solution was you need to wait 7-10 days to receive your new card to access your funds from your account. What a load of shit! I will never use them again. Card will be received and funds will be withdrawn and they can kiss my ass!
