We booked a hotel close to the airport with shuttle service. When the booking confirmed it was a different hotels many kms from the airport with no shuttle service. When we contacted them they cancelled it but we lost the money on the card.

DON’T USE THE CARDS!!!!! Long story short, had 2 x 100.00 gift cards from my wedding. I used it to book at Hilton and the website for Global hotel Card took the money and didn’t give me the reservation at the hotel although it showed my confirmation number etc. The website wasn’t working as well as customer service I couldn’t get in contact with anyone. I’m livid and need to contact my bank for the balance I paid after the gift cards.

Absolute scam. Hiked-up prices from Expedia counterparts, while the site makes the claim that they are "powered by Expedia". Skip this scam and go with AirBnB!

The website never works properly. Zero customer service. No one can ever help with anything. It's like a scam and I don't know how this website is still live and not flagged by google.

I have been trying to get a refund from Global Hotel Card for weeks now. I have provided every single piece of information, documentation, and proof they have requested. Despite this, their customer support team continually replies by asking for the exact same information I have already sent. It feels like a deliberate tactic to delay the process and hope I give up.Their customer service is completely unhelpful, circular, and unprofessional. If you are considering buying or using a Global Hotel Card, be warned: if anything goes wrong, getting your money back is an absolute nightmare. Avoid this company

We made the biggest mistake thinking that the accommodations offered on the site aligns with Expedia as advertised, however we were completely misled and wasted money on gift cards. One of the worst service providers we have ever come across with limited booking options. The site is outdated and extremely difficult to navigate- not sure why it even exists with such poor incomprehensible standard compared to other sites such as booking, Expedia etc.
