My first appointment was at my house and the technician said he couldn't calibrate my windshield because his computer didn't work...and he told me he was sorry he brought the incorrect windshield. He told me I could go to Elmhurst and they would fix it in about 11/2 hours. I had a 8:00 am appointment at 9:05 I received a text that my technician arrived and at 10:45 work was completed. I had a appointment work should have started at 8:00. On the way home I noticed the wrong windshield was installed. I specifically asked that I had the identical windshield replaced. I specifically said I didn't want a heated windshield because I don't like looking at screen in the glass. I got a heated windshield and I don't like it Gerber Glass failed. I will not use them again

While driving on I-295 near the I-95 South exit, debris fell off one of Glass America’s vehicles and hit my windshield and car, causing damage. I got the license plate number and called right away to report it and request their insurance information. I have asked for their insurance information over and over, and they still refuse to provide it. Instead of taking responsibility, someone just offered me a discount, with no admission that it was their vehicle or their fault. I also reported this to the Florida Highway Patrol (reference number FHP26ON0411731). If your company vehicle damages someone’s car, the right thing to do is take responsibility, provide your insurance information, and fix the damage, not stall the person and offer a discount instead.

I had called Fond du lac wi location. Had a windshield repaired. He never covered the hood up and dropped resin on the paint. It wouldn't wipe off. Had to have it buffed out which cost us money. He also used our step ups instead of bringing a ladder in to stand on. We have a Jeep Wrangler with only 60k miles in excellent condition. And that is how they treat your vehicle. They will never work on any of our vehicles again.

Appointment confirmed. No follow-up. Rude call from Sunnyvale. I booked an appointment online with Glass America and received a confirmation email stating the appointment was set and someone would call me in the morning with an ETA. The morning came—no call. So I reached out myself and spoke to someone who confirmed I was booked for today but would need to wait for a follow-up call with the time. That follow-up came from the Sunnyvale location, and it was unfortunately one of the most unpleasant customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. The person on the line was dismissive from the start, told me I wasn’t on the schedule at all, and informed me I’d have to drive to Sunnyvale for the appointment—even though my confirmation clearly said otherwise. When I asked how my appointment had been confirmed twice, she became even ruder. No apology, no explanation—just attitude. Completely unacceptable experience from start to finish. I cancelled and took my business elsewhere. If this is how they treat new customers, I can’t imagine what support is like after a job is done.
