Hi Jan, Reading your review truly made us smile! We're delighted to hear that both you and your two Shelties have been enjoying your Selene fountain for the past six months. We love your comparison to drinking from an outdoor water hose and it sounds like your pups have found their favorite watering spot! It's also wonderful to hear that, even with hard water, you've found the fountain easy to take apart and clean, including the pump. We designed it to be simple to maintain, so your feedback means a lot to us. Thank you for your kind words and for recommending Selene to other pet parents.
