Really impressed with ForwardMe so far. I’ve used the perusal buyer service on a number of Mercari items and am amazed at how fast they were able to ship them to me! I am using the other services now and blown away by how good the customer services team have been.

The delivery arrived on time via UPS, with only a minor customs hold, and I had to pay the applicable tax in my country, which was expected. According to UPS tracking update and date I cleared the packages, it was Tuesday, August 11 at 4:45 P.M. However, one of the new Dell monitors I purchased through ForwardMe’s Personal Shopper service displayed a line on the screen the very first time I turned it on, indicating that the monitor was faulty. My instructions to the Personal Shopper were very clear: I wanted brand-new Dell monitors purchased directly from Dell.com USA, at the prices shown on Dell’s website, which I paid for. I also provided the product links specifically for this purpose. However, when the packages arrived at my ForwardMe mailbox and were listed on my dashboard, the monitors appeared to have been purchased from eBay because the eBay logo was used to identify the packages on my dashboard. I immediately raised a complaint and explained that I had specifically instructed the Personal Shopper to purchase the monitors from Dell. I requested that the items be returned and that my money be refunded. ForwardMe’s support team then informed me that the eBay listing was displayed in error by one of their staff members and assured me that the monitors had actually been purchased from Dell. While I appreciate their explanation, this situation has left me concerned and uncertain about the actual source and condition of the monitors. I am now not entirely sure whether the monitors were genuinely purchased from Dell as instructed, or whether they could be refurbished or previously used products from Ebay. This is the main issue I now have with ForwardMe. Fortunately, I had purchased insurance for the items before they were shipped to my country, which is one of the options offered by ForwardMe. I have therefore submitted an insurance claim for the faulty monitor and am currently waiting for the outcome. The insurance claim was submitted on 12th August 2026, and hope it is treated as expected. I will provide an update here once the insurance claim is approved and resolved, or not.
