About FlowBots

FlowBots builds professional-grade automation for NinjaTrader 8, designed for traders who need speed, precision, and control across multiple accounts. Our flagship trade copier, Replikanto, is engineered to replicate orders reliably while giving you the flexibility to scale: copy by quantity rules, map contracts (e.g., ES to MES), and run exits through ATM Copy so each follower can manage risk exactly the way you intend. What makes FlowBots unique is focus: we don’t ship “nice-to-have” features, we ship tools that solve the hardest operational problems in real trading. That includes a purpose-built Compliance Mode created with prop-firm requirements in mind, so you can keep the workflow you rely on while reducing rule-conflict risk. We pair powerful software with clear documentation and responsive support, and we let customers validate everything first via a full-feature free trial.FlowBots is where serious execution meets practical automation, built by traders, for traders.

Software issue tripled position size

Replikanto tripled my position size on a follower account. 7 contracts on the leader turned into 21 contracts on the follower, all filled at the exact same second. This caused my funded account to blow on day one. I had one NinjaTrader window open and one broker connection active. Support confirmed the triplication in my order logs but denied any refund and blamed setup error despite no evidence of that. Use this software at your own risk if you're trading prop firm accounts. A malfunction like this can cost you real money with zero recourse. Update: FlowBots offered to investigate further in their public reply here, but during our private email they said Id have to pay $39 if I wanted more help. I'm happy to share logs if they confirm they'll investigate at no charge. I won't be paying $39 for support to investigate a bug their own team confirmed in the ticket.

Hi Justin, thank you for sharing your logs and for the detailed breakdown of what occurred. We have now reviewed the log file line by line. The disconnect on Lucid 50k 1 occurred at 10:34:27 and reconnected at 10:34:41. At that point, Lucid 50k 2 was already active and had been connected since 09:49:23, meaning two simultaneous connections to the same broker were running at the time of the reconnect. Following the reconnect, NinjaTrader presented order 542250540077 under two separate internal order IDs — 201 and 202 — milliseconds apart. Because Replikanto's duplicate protection works based on the NinjaTrader internal order ID, and these were two distinct IDs, both were processed separately and copied to the follower account. This is what caused the position to inflate from 7 to 21 contracts. The stop order was received under only one internal ID, covering 7 of the 21 follower contracts. The remaining 14 ran unprotected until liquidation at 11:20:32. The initiating cause was having two simultaneous connections to the same broker active during the session. With a single broker connection, this scenario does not occur. We are therefore unable to issue a refund or complimentary renewal in connection with this trading loss, as this falls outside of a Replikanto product failure. To prevent recurrence, please ensure only one active connection to the same broker is running during a trading session. Your Replikanto - Single Machine (Lifetime) license remains fully active.
