farcical,offer a rate setting account, then show surprise and horror when people apply for it.

Avoid, avoid and AVOID, absolutely horrific Company that promised a great Interest rate but can't even complete the application and honour it. Waited 4 weeks and the automatic email gets sent through saying we are currently still working it. GO ELSEWHERE

I applied for a savings account nearly a month ago, and all I’ve had are a few emails from them to tell me the application is still under review. What on earth is the hold up? This is a ridiculous amount of time to wait, so I’ve now emailed to cancel the application. I’ve now opened up an account with Chase, which was up and running within a few hours!

Waiting over 4 weeks for openeing an account cant be acceptable. When I applied on line they said it could take upto 72 hours. 4v e mails apologising but no suggestion it would take iver 4 weeks and counting. Very bad service from Nat West group

I opened the account as the rate was good and it’s part of Natwest group. Opened account in under 10 mins and made deposit with no issues. I got in early when the higher rate was announced. I’ve banked with Natwest for many years and never had any issues.

Appalling! Nearly six weeks and just the continuing 'we're still working on the account'. Save yourself your interest and open with Tesco bank at 4.5% which was open immediately. I've been with Nat West for over 30 years with this by far the most disappointing.

Should be called First Inactive.

Complete waste of time. 3 weeks and still not opened Go elsewhere
