Pricing Confusion

I cannot comment on the actual products as I have not received them yet; however, I was extremely frustrated with the confusion regarding charges. I was under the impression that the $99 I paid when signing up and scheduling my appointment was my first monthly fee and I would not be charged the $99 again until the next month. After having my consultation (which went well and I felt like I was actually listened to/heard - so that is positive), I wanted to be sure that I understood what I would be charged for the medication so I used the chat feature. Although it was AI, it clearly stated that I would NOT be charged the $99 again until the following month and would only be charged the amount of the medications. I work in pharmacy and know what these prescriptions should cost but am hopeful to see results with someone treating my symptoms and not just bloodwork results so I was willing to take the risk and pay the steep prices for the medications. I was connected with an actual representative who was able to move forward with my order after getting a "clear yes." I was charged the $99 again on top of the cost of the medication despite paying the original $99 three days ago and being told I would not. I immediately asked in the chat why I was charged the $99 again and was told that the AI was incorrect - the original $99 was for the sign up and cost of the blood test ?? The $99 charged at this time is the monthly fee. Looking back, the provider did state that I would be charged two amounts that day, but I assumed that was if the monthly fee hadn't already been paid? I just wish it would have been made more clear on the original information when I was researching. I budgeted so I would be able to try this service and ended up going over budget because the information was not clear. I am still hopeful to have positive results but am bummed that my first couple of days were frustrating and felt like the company was a little deceitful.
