I bought a couch and love seat. Had it delivered. My son was here, i was at work. They brought it in, sat it down and it was damaged. He sent me a picture of the damaged furniture and it was not even the right furniture. They brought somebody else's damage furniture into my house. So Then they take it out, bring in my furniture. It was damaged as well. and that just created a big old mess after that.

They slipped charges in including. Scotchgaurd for floor model already in use.they refused to cancel insurance within alotted time frame.they do not make any accommodation for handicap. The financial dept is the worst I've ever dealt with EVER.going to store tomorrow again to see if corrections are made if not I'm returning my purchase.

BUYERS BEWARE: Read Your Contract Carefully! I am beyond disappointed with my experience with Farmers Home Furniture. While the initial purchase seemed fine, their accounting and customer service have been a total nightmare. The Red Flags You Need to Know: • Misleading "Forgiveness" Tactics: They used terms like "forgiveness" for what were actually just payment deferments. I also discovered unauthorized fees and late fees charged during a pandemic accommodation period—a direct violation of the standards meant to protect consumers. Most importantly, The furniture doesn’t last long at all! • Hidden "Automatic" Insurance: They automatically add insurance fees to your account without your knowledge or consent. Even if you think you’ve opted out, check your line items! • The "Corporate" Runaround: When you try to resolve these discrepancies, the store manager where you purchased the furniture will simply direct you to corporate. Be warned: Corporate is completely unresponsive to phone calls or standard inquiries. In my experience, they will only acknowledge communication sent via Certified Mail. I highly suggest you take your money and business elsewhere!

⭐ One-Star Review— Be Aware!❌ My experience at Farmers Home Furniture, 1301 Ward Blvd. in Wilson, NC, was extremely disappointing. The store manager, Mr. Waddell Branch, demonstrated unprofessionalism and a dismissive attitude, particularly in the credit department. Customers who are on a budget should be aware that even a brief delay in payment can result in aggressive tactics, including allowing furniture to be repossessed and causing significant damage to your credit. The lack of professionalism, integrity, and genuine customer care was evident throughout my interaction. I strongly encourage anyone — especially those working within a tight budget — to think carefully before doing business with this location.

Farmers Home Furniture is, without question, the worst furniture retailer my husband and I have ever dealt with. The location in Winder, Georgia (15 Plaza Drive, Winder, GA 30680) has been nothing short of a complete disappointment from start to finish. Approximately two and a half years ago, my husband and I purchased a three-piece sectional with four recliners, along with what was advertised as a “lifetime” insurance policy covering spills, holes, and mechanical issues. That insurance turned out to be a complete misrepresentation—an absolute waste of time, money, and energy. In April or May of 2024, one of the adjustable recliners stopped closing properly. This furniture had barely been used, and we have lived in our home for nearly four years, purchasing all new furniture when we moved in. We contacted the store to file a claim under the insurance policy, which was approved. A technician eventually came out to inspect the recliner and stated he would order the necessary parts. He told us they would arrive within a week. Instead, it took nearly four weeks. When the parts finally arrived, they were incorrect. The technician reordered the parts—again, wrong parts. A third attempt was made, and once again, the parts did not match the recliner. As a result, the recliner was never repaired, and the technician never returned. That was only one issue. Another section of the sectional—the center wedge piece with the cup holder and fold-down tray—developed a tear in the fabric covering that protects items from falling between the seats. We reported this issue as well. No one ever came to inspect or repair it. The fabric overall is extremely poor quality, uncomfortable, and has not held up despite normal household use. Now, my husband’s recliner is completely damaged and will not close at all. This sectional is essentially junk, despite being less than three years old and supposedly protected by a lifetime warranty. The so-called insurance was a lie. We were left with unusable furniture, incorrect parts delivered to our home that didn’t even belong to our recliner, and zero follow-up or accountability. The service process was disorganized, unprofessional, and dismissive. We will never patronize Farmers Home Furniture again—at this location or any other. We are actively getting rid of this sectional and purchasing from Ashley Furniture, which we should have done in the first place. Lastly, I find it very difficult to believe the positive reviews associated with this store. Based on our experience, those reviews do not appear accurate or authentic. This has been, hands down, the worst furniture purchase we have ever made.

My experience with Farmers Home Furniture has been nothing but a nightmare. Over the past year, my husband and I have spent over $10,000 with this company, including two couches, expecting quality and decent treatment. Instead, we’ve been met with defective furniture, broken promises, and appalling customer service. Both pieces of furniture I purchased are faulty—the wagon door has never worked, and my $3,000 couch was torn, also even though I was charged for a protectant that was clearly never applied. I also received a used vacuum that was off their floor being used. Not brand new which is unacceptable. I have proof of these issues, yet the company refuses to take responsibility. To make matters worse, they failed to provide my pay-on-account information, despite my repeated attempts to have it emailed or mailed. When I told them to pick up their defective furniture, they sent people to my home who tried to intimidate me. Now, instead of fixing their mistakes, they are threatening to sue me. How about we address how unprofessional and how poorly your company has treated me. Harassment. Etc etc. They didn't hold up to their end of a deal but expect me to. So I'm gonna post this. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM. THEIR FURNITURE IS POOR QUALITY AND THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. At least not in the Lawrenceburg tennessee location. TIA. Farmers Home Furniture’s behavior is disgraceful. They don’t value their customers, their products are subpar, and their tactics are unethical. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this company at all costs I cannot express how disrespected I feel after investing $10,000 in furniture, only to face a series of ongoing issues. It’s truly disheartening that we are still dealing with broken pieces from our initial purchase, and now, after having to buy a new couch, we find ourselves in the same predicament with this one too. To make matters worse, I recently discovered that the store manager has taken it upon herself to go through my social media and send messages to my friends, slandering my name. This behavior is completely unacceptable and adds insult to injury. She also got others involved on her end. Farmers is this okay? Really I deserve better, and I expect immediate action to rectify this situation.

Less than a year ago I purchased my living room furniture from them in Greenville, TN. I chose the 12 month interest free and doubled my payments to pay off in time. I personally went to the store with my final payment (April 2024) and asked for confirmation that this was my finalayment and was told yes. I received a text on November 13 2024 stating I had a payment due. I went there in person to explain my bill was paid. Long story short I was told I owed $110.61 because the people I dealt with in the beginning were no longer there and they made a mistake with my bill and therefore the current people were not responsible for their mistake and I needed to pay it. This came from the District Manager who was there that day. I feel I should not have had to pay it since it was not my mistake and they should not have waited 8 months to tell me.
