Faresbuddy.com is a total scam
This company turned out to be a total scam. I booked my United Airlines ticket on April 8th thru their website for a short trip at the end of July. $115.29 for a one way ticket, which seemed very good. Their email after booking stated I would receive the ticket after they verified payment. I didn't receive any ticket, so I called the number. The fellow said I would receive an e-ticket the day before the flight, which was 3-1/2 months away. That day came and went without receiving anything. I called, but the phone appeared disconnected this time. There was a chat window on their website, but no one chatted with me. It just kept saying the agents were busy, for hours. I ended up buying a last minute ticket directly from United for three times the amount. AMEX reversed the charge right away when I disputed it. Hope this review saves others some big trouble down the road.
