Ads suck, but communities are actually tolerable
The community is nice, lot of useful information, but ads and tracking are a pain on mobile.

The advertisements they endorse on the website are blatantly scam, and not only scam, but could lead to IDENTITY FRAUD. Never click on the website, don’t use, and straight up mass report them. Identity fraud is a serious issue and this website does not help people avoid it.

It is completely acceptable to generate most of your income from ads, especially if you're providing a service such as Fandom. However, when you blatantly allow ads to forcibly redirect you from your page with no way to close the ad... then there's a huge problem. Based on my research on this issue it was of some surprise that Fandom is notorious for knowingly allowing this to happen. The redirect ad is 100% not allowing you to use their site to read wiki's. If you back button out, you are sent two pages back.. and if you click back into an article the ad immediately intrudes again. Rinse and repeat... this has been happening for a week... and any response I've met from Fandom is apathetic at best. So... not that it'll affect Fandom nor will they care but I'll never use the site again. Couldn't if I wanted to but even if they are bothered to fix this infuriating issue I still wouldn't use them anymore. They allow this to happen far too often with zero cares to give. What a shame

bad customer experience, submitted a ticket, formality came at me as very demanding, bad moderation if you try and open a ticket for someone getting banned they will likely say "we cant ban people sorry" and close the ticket.

The people are the problem. Most fandoms you see are nothing but impersonations, have some or a lot of false information, have a lot of mods who give people permanent bans instead of giving them a timeout, and not all things need a wiki. End of story! Yeah, I know that not all fandoms have to be officially made by the people who made the game, anime, show, movie, etc. But seriously, every fandom I visit is just nothing but garbage. To all the companies out there, please get every fandom a DMCA strike. I beg of you!

Power hungry, filled with ads, selling your data, only thinking about money, do not use this, many wikis have already moved to other wiki hosting services, you should too.

Hi, Fandom disabled my account (Jensonbrad 13) for no reason, I didn't do anything wrong and you shouldn't use it if you don't want to get blocked globally. I didn't do anything bad, I was following their guidelines and you shouldn't use it, Please use wikipedia for a better
