I went to eye mart express in Spanish fork today to get new glasses, I had 500.00 in my pocket and eyemed insurance to pay for the glasses and none will wait on me, there were three people talking and another one taking care of customers, they were aware I was there waiting and I had to leave after an hour waiting. I took my business somewhere else who treated me with respect and dignity I was not there for charity I have money.

The service is extremely slow 2 people ever seat taken plus out the door. Why don’t they hire someone. The choice of glasses are good service is poor. The ladies are friendly . See how they can work under the stand. A

They need some customer service classes. If I were rating their service as a secret shopper they would have failed. I am being kind because I would give less than ONE star. Looking at the other reviews, others agree.

My prescription was wrong at no fault of theirs but they helped me when I don’t think they had to went above and beyond and I will be going back as I have for years once I get a better exam

I went to the Beckley, WV store to buy new glasses and picked out the one I wanted. My older glasses that I purchased from the same store a couple of years ago needed to be repaired. The band that holds the bottom part of the lens snapped apart when I accidentally sat on the glasses. The frame did not get damaged and just needed re-band to hold the lens in place. I asked the sales rep. if they could re-band the lens and she said she didn't think so, but would ask. She told me the tech said the frames were old and most likely would not hold up. I explained to the sales rep. they were just going to be used as a spare because I was buying new glasses and it wouldn't be a problem if they didn't hold up. She went back to the tech and came back to me again very rude and loud and said we can't fix them. I left your store and went to Walmart and they're-banned my glasses with no issues and said they will hold up just fine, and also purchased new glasses. The sales rep at Walmart was very accommodating and interested in helping me, along with wanting to make a sale and just can't understand why your store treated me so badly.

I bought a frame for my eyeglasses. The frame broke within a couple if months. I went back to replace the frame and was told they didn't make the frame anymore so I would have to purchase new lenses and frame which is a whole hell of alot.more expensive than just replacing the frame. I am.just going to go somewhere else and start over fresh.

I wanted a BUDGET pair of eyeglasses for outdoor work. My workplace HR manager recommended Eyemart Express because they're closest to us in our city. I called the store manager before heading in to let her know exactly what I wanted (eye exam, BUDGET glasses, no add-ons) and we set an appointment. From the moment I got to the front desk, the up-selling started. Even though I have a very weak prescription, they tried to add everything under the kitchen sink on to my prescription. I was exhausted saying, "No thanks" over and over again. Then they had me check for frames. The receptionist specifically told me WHERE to look for my frames. By this point I was tired and just wanted to get out of there. So I chose the least expensive frames that fit me. I was called back the same day to pick up my frames (great!). While waiting to be seen, I saw the "budget" frames section FAR from where I'd been told to look for my frames at the OPPOSITE (read "expensive") end of the store. I'd paid FOUR TIMES as much as the average cost of budget frames. I was livid--but the damage was done. They'd already made my glasses. I usually pay for glasses out of pocket (eye insurance to me has been a waste since they drastically pump up the prices) and have NEVER paid more than $100. This time, I paid many times that, despite having asked specifically for "budget frames." I'll never use Eyemart Express again. In the future, I'll get my prescription from an independent optometrist then use the prescription to get true budget frames online. What an unctuous business to up-sell even to customers who explicitly request a budget pair of glasses.

So far it is a waste of time. Went to the local store - picked out totally basic cheap frames in five minutes but was told they needed a lens sanding part that would take two weeks to get. They sent us to the store in the next town. Been waiting almost an hour so far to be seen. Totally understaffed. I would have gone somewhere else had I known.
