Crooks. They are my company’s prescription service and they hounded us for months to use them, so we did. Our very first prescription for 30 days that usually costs us $2 at our local pharmacy was sent by Express Scripts with a bill for $135. I looked on GoodRX and the same prescription was $6.07. I called Express Scripts and they informed me they would not take the meds back and all they could offer was a $100 credit. If we had walked into a pharmacy and they presented us with the medication and a bill for $135 we could walk away, but since this was mailed we had to accept it. Safe to say we won’t ever use them again and my HR department will be hearing from me in the morning.

Despite having an auto refill date of Jan. 2, 2022, for a prescription I need to live, Express Scripts wasn't even going to begin processing until Jan. 18 and it could take five days to process and another five days to ship. This is despite having an email from Express Scripts on Jan. 2 stating that it would be delivered by Jan. 11, which was already too late because I ran out today (Jan. 8) and had to get a few of the items from a local pharmacy. I made at least seven calls and was on the phone for more than four hours collectively and was told on Jan. 2 that the prescription would be upgraded to high priority, but that didn't happen. In fact, the shipping date was pushed back to where I wouldn't even get this items until the end of January. Ultimately, I was able to get the prescription transferred to a local pharmacy, but this experience was a nightmare. Express Scripts cares nothing about its customers. Its incompetence and indifference is astounding.

Dealing with Express Scripts through Cigna has been a worrisome 8 months. Two different physician offices have called in many times but Scripts has no clue. It ended in a duplicate prescription which I had to tell them about. One doctor does her own calls to Scripts but they have nothing. New revamping of Scripts is needed. Many are not doing their JOB.

This company is the worst. I’m sorry if your employer requires you to use them. They don’t care about you and your health issues. I have been taking a brand name medication for 7 years now. Since a new genetic came to market, they are forcing me to try it and if I have complications then I can go back to the name brand. I’m not a ginnypig! This is not like phychotic meds where they test to see if it works or not.f

Horrendous! I decided to get my prescriptions delivered to save money. It only took 1 week for me to realize what a HUGE mistake it was to switch from the private pharmacy to Express Scripts. In that week I spent countless hours on the phone trying to get problems resolved like overcharges on some medications and not receiving the proper amount of medicine. It was a nightmare. Believe me, it's not worth the savings going through all that nonsense. I'd rather pay more knowing the process through the local pharmacy will be smooth and without the stress, frustration and headaches. Stay with your local pharmacy. You're welcome!!!

My company was acquired in August and our new "insurance" kicked in on 9-1-2021. I placed an order with Express-Scripts for a long-term maintenance medication on 9-2-2021. They didn't begin to attempt to process it until 09-10-2021, and that was just the start of the troubles. They denied my medication on 9-11-21, saying my doctor's office claimed I was not a patient, okay, I just got married and my last name had changed, so I accepted this, sent my new info to my doctor's office, and communicated between the two companies, assuming, great, this will get fixed now. I have had this same prescription denied 4 times now by this horrible excuse for a company. My doctor's office has assured me they have faxed the authorization in multiple times, have updated my information, and even discussed this with Express Scripts. I can't just skip doses of my medication, as this could result in severe and life-threatening side effects, Express-Scripts could care less and has done nothing to resolve this situation. I am stressed, tired, worn-out and miss my company's old insurance, that actually worked. Please do not use this horrible company, if your employer uses them, consider buying your own insurance. The headaches, stress and incompetence from Express-Scripts is not worth anybody's time.

I'm giving them one star simply because I can't give them none and still leave a review. I have called five times now - everyday for five days - I was supposed to get a brand name medication; they filled it with generic. We called; they were going to ship the brand overnight on Monday. It's Tuesday and they just now told me it might go out tomorrow - Wednesday OR it might go out Thursday but it would go out overnight. Their record would tell me that it won't ship when or how they say . . and I just might get the wrong medication. I can't begin to tell you how poor their customer service is, Processing time is slow and concern for your health is non-existent. If your insurance company insist you use express scripts - change insurance! This group is terrible.
