After my experience with Express Scripts, I looked at customer reviews to see if others were having similar problems. What I found was discouraging. The overwhelming customer consensus is poor. The same complaints appear repeatedly: prescription delivery delays, unresponsive customer service, frustrating prior authorization hurdles, poor communication, and medications not arriving when needed. These concerns are reflected across major consumer review platforms, where Express Scripts consistently receives very low customer ratings. The volume and consistency of negative reviews suggest these are not isolated incidents.

Worst business can't belive there still exists very expensive and they don't cover the medication you need is company pathetic hope they go out business soon!! Worst customer service

I would give them less than 1 star if possible. My review of of Express Scripts is overwhelmingly poor to absolutely terrible. Stay away...realy. They do not keep up with prescriptions from our doctors. They always say no refills even if we still have some left. They constantly give us trouble with EVERY prescription. When we call they insist on giving us a runaround saying we have to call our doctor even if we just checked with them and the prescription was faxed in days ago. They fill a prescription after all the trouble only to change the price to something OUTRAGEOUS.

They don’t even deserve a single star! I’ve been trying since March to get a prescription filled. They claim my doctors office never sent prior authorization but my Doctors office said they have several times over THE LAST THREE MONTHS! Worst company ever!

Poor automated system and calls to customer that tell you nothing and are an annoyance! Just because other companies are using automated systems doesn’t mean an important medical service for medications should use them. Any other pharmacy makes personal phone calls to customers when there is a problem with an order. Automated call system only said medication and date but not the medication name that there was a problem with.

Absolutely not worth it!! I have no idea what I am paying for with this coverage. This company only pays a percentage of my prescription after I pay my high deductible and that for the GENERIC version $997.00!! I will not have medication this year because without my deductible paid ( I don’t need to go to the doctor so my deductible probable won’t be met) my meds are $997.00 for GENERIC. Additionally the responsible thing to do would be to have prescription assistance resources available to refer your clients. Because you know many of us can’t afford this price gouging. If your company offers a plan with Express Scripts and you have other plans available get the other plan. Express Scripts is a rip off.

Worse Pharmacy Company in America! Delays in filling prescriptions and preauthorization. Blames it on the doctor's office.

I got a MARKETING call from them - even tho that number is set only for text - asking for a review. Really annoyed, so intrusive to get a phone call I did NOT consent to. When I called to try and stop it, they provided a SEPARATE NUMBER to opt out. So, had to write down the number - they could have left the number in the voice mail so I could simply click on it. Instead, had to write it and then call that. THAT number - message said if I opt out I will receive NO notifications about my prescriptions. So wrong - first, they should NOT call me with a marketing/review request, or EVER, since I did not consent to that. Second, they should NOT tie allowing marketing calls to getting medical info. I allow VERY FEW calls period ‘cos of so much spam. May have given them a decent review but now will never.
