My fire alarm was going off one evening and it would not turn off (no fire). I was on hold for 15 mins before I could even talk to anyone. They were not able to fix the problem and refused to send a tech out to help me despite the fact that I was home alone with a baby and the alarm had been going off for an hour. They did schedule a tech to come in a FEW DAYS. Alarm eventually went off on its own and they were unable to determine the cause when the tech came out.

My thermostats were hooked up incorrectly and my AC and Heater ran for 3 days straight at the same time! I contacted the company and they sent out a repairman but it took 3 visits to fix the problem. I cancelled my contract until everything was fixed. They promised to pay for the difference in my electricity bill. It is about 2 weeks and someone finally showed up with a corrected contract. They did give me some free months and also threw in some extras. Things are resolved but I had to go through several people to get this straightened out.

We installed Envision alarm system in may 2015 because our house was broken into in may 2015 and just 2 days ago our house got broken into again and the alarm was on but those 60 seconds it gives us to leave and exit the house after turning it on was just enough time for that person to come in and take stuff from our house and leave with it right when the alarm was about to go off and send a signal to the police.I got home and called police before i received the message that our back door was open and then the alarm went off which was when that person was leaving.It was horrible.I thought that even if they did break in again police or something could be done before the thief was gone. I really think those 60 seconds that are given to exit should be shorter, because if this happened to me it can happen to anybody.It really is possible. The alarm system is great but that time should be cut shorter its kind of too long of time for someone to come in and take things from your home.

Hello and responding to the request for review. It is nice to have the audio function on the front panel to communicate with the staff when an alert does occur, the garage door alert and the broken glass monitor. The only concerns have been that the FOB does not work even when standing at the front door and aiming at the panel and will not turn off the alarm function and the garage/laundry room door panel to enter the code to turn off the alarm does not work and was told by the tech who came out to service this problem that I would have to forcefully enter the code to have this register and still does not disengage the alarm. I have had a alarm laundry room panel when entering from the garage for years with another company and did not have to do this so obviously this panel is not working correctly. Basically just got tired of calling for service and to be told that this is the way it is. When I enter from the garage/laundry room area I have to rush to the front of the house to enter the code and this is an inconvenience considering I paid to have the panel installed in the laundry room to disarm the alarm when I enter from the garage. My other alternative is to park in the driveway and enter through the front door to disarm the alarm and then go back outside to open the garage and park my car. If I had known this would be the case I would not have switched from my other alarm company to your company as all of their equipment worked and when service was provided they fixed the problem. I was open to other security options, but Envision stood out with options and service. I was very happy with the initial contact and service but after I said yes and agreed, things did not work out to what I had been promised. I was told that I would have auto pay set up by my rep. This never happened and I have had a problems with my account ever since. I was told that it would be set up on auto pay and although I provided my full and complete banking account information it was never implemented at all. I was willing to pay more for service but now I'm not so sure that was a good ideal. I would like to renegotiate my contract because Envision did not hold up their end of the bargain by not setting up the auto and now my account is in arrears every month. Please note I would have giving a 5 start rating if envision held up their end of the bargain, but I have to give a 2.5 to 3 star rating only! This is due to poor administrative practices and broken promises. Also, make sure you get everything in writing especially the terms of the agreement. I was with the understanding that i would be a 2 year contact, but when I was about to finalized the deal and the rep had put down 5 year contact. When I complained about the difference I was told they couldn't honor a 2 year agreement, but they would honor a 3 year agreement. Wow! Could it get any better than this?

This is my first home security that I have purchased and it works well. The broken glass sensor if very sensitive but I deal with it. The entire purposes to get the system was great from the sales rep to the install personnel. The reason why I give this product three stars is because I wad told that the monitoring personnel will contact the local PD for response when ever the system sounded but I was not told that there are areas that don't do that and of course I live in one of those areas so sometimes I am not satisfied with my home security purchase. Make sure that you at least read the entire contract before you sign it.

So far, so good. I did have to move a sensor at the master bedroom, and so I called customer service to get the sensor back online. During the conversation, the call was lost. I was really expecting the service tech to call me back so I wouldn't have to start the whole process over from the beginning. He never did. I was bummed.
