While we regret that the client feels dissatisfied, it is important to clarify that the services we provide are governed by the terms of the agreement executed at the outset of representation. As is common with legal and advocacy-related work, results cannot be guaranteed, and timelines are often dictated by external procedures, statutory requirements, and third-party representatives. Many aspects of the process are beyond our direct control, and delays are not uncommon. Due to client confidentiality, we cannot discuss the specifics of the case. We are able to, however, emphasize that the client elected to terminate the agreement prematurely. When services are discontinued prior to the completion of the agreed-upon scope of work, the desired results cannot and will not be achieved, as the process requires continuity and completion. By cancelling the work, the client did not allow us to continue our efforts to advocate fully on their behalf. Our records confirm that we acted diligently and in good faith within the parameters of the agreement and the limitations inherent in legal and procedural matters. Accordingly, under the firm’s established policy, all fees paid to our firm are earned for work performed and are not refundable. Both our agreement and client service have withstood scrutiny from consumer protection organizations, like the Better Business Bureau, because we are fair to our clients and work hard for them.
