My school used to use APEX; but starting this year we moved to Edmentum when it bought out APEX.

Sucks.
Due to health problems I take all necessary classes online. The "tutorials" are actual bullshit, with pages and pages of text and the occasional problem. The practice on Algebra is fairly easy, but doesn't prepare you for the mastery test, none of it makes sense, and I genuinely am filled with such unbridled rage looking at this stupid website every damn day. I start uncontrollably crying and shaking with anger whenever I have to log on.

Edmentum Honestly Sucks
I personally hate Edmentum. The lessons are very text heavy and it can strain the eyes after a while. They also last for too long. It’s draining having to read 20 or more pages per lesson. The lessons aren’t engaging either. They’re very boring and for example: English 12 teaches you Old English. In a traditional school, I doubt that’s what they teach. Sometimes it’s hard to follow. If I’ll be honest, I haven’t learned any useful stuff from Edmentum, but have to take it for credit recovery to graduate this year. I do well on my exams and usually get 90s-100s, but the way they’re structured are quite poor as well. You have to mesmerize rather than actually consume the material. The only thing I like is that it’s self paced. That’s all.

Absolutely awful. I have completely lost confidence in Edmentum. I have personally seen what appeared to be the exact same question have different "correct" answers at different times. If students are expected to learn, the platform should at least be able to provide consistent answers instead of making people question whether they're being graded fairly.
I also feel the curriculum has a severe liberal bias and often presents opinions or contested viewpoints as if they are unquestionable facts. In my experience, it does not do a good job of distinguishing between factual information and interpretation, and it leaves very little room for students to think critically or consider multiple perspectives.
Education should be about teaching verifiable facts, encouraging critical thinking, and grading students consistently. Instead, my experience with Edmentum has been frustration, inconsistency, and a lack of confidence in the material. I would not recommend this platform to anyone looking for an objective and reliable learning experience.

This site is terrible.
This site is abhorrent. Everything is incredibly buggy, and on the graphing tool, there is no undo button. Not even a reset button. Mess up one data point? Congrats, its locked in now! Yup, you can't delete anything if you mess it up, even if you haven't even submitted the question. I had to email my teacher to reset the entire assignment because of ONE TYPO.

Too many slides, too little time
i used this site when i had to make up a credit for a class i dropped, and it wasnt a pleasant experience. Most of the slides contained paragraphs after paragraphs of information you wouldnt be able to memorize in time to do your post tests because there were so many of them. the post tests themselves were all multiple choice so i guess thats a plus, but they were very long. Instead of being graded on mainly the writing portions where you could show off what you know about a very specific question, you were forced to get a grade on the post tests alone. All the post tests were, in a nutshell, memory games. you had to memorize definitions and stuff like that to get a good grade, instead of being graded on all the writing portions (there were about 2 writing questions each slideshow and required you to write in a good amount of detail). Why they dont grade you on how well you understood the material by showing what you know in writing i dont know. All i know is redoing all those post tests, which have up to 30 questions, without being able to use notes really stressed me out. On top of that, each unit (or slideshow, because their the same thing) you did had to get over a 60 percent score to pass the class. Each unit contributed to your OVERALL score, which had to be at at least 60 percent to get credit, just like the individual scores you got after completing a slideshow. When i completed mine with most of the units above 60, i still didnt have enough to pass even though I completed all the work. So i had to retake post tests until it went up. I believe that making students memorize so much imformation all at once and then write about it is one thing, but to get to the actual post tests you had to go through all 30 slides at once if you wanted to remember anything for the test. This took more then 45 minutes for me personally because I was trying to make sure the info stuck. But if you logged out and got back on the next day, i bet you would have forgotten all the info or at least some of it. So you had to go through 30 slides all over again all while preparing to take the post test. There are too many slides with too many details that you wont need (or probably remember) for the post tests- seriously the questions are only 1-2 sentences long, not that detailed. My main criticism is the way the were made to take in information- many paragraphs of texts. But if the info was structured in bullet point format that sold the main idea in a way students could remember without all the details, I think their scores would go up, as they will remember the main idea because its easier. But maybe this is just a me thing, as I have a terrible memory due to ADHD and stuff. Other then that its not the worst site in the world, not the best either.

As a first hand student I do not recommend
I had done online learning in the past, and I have never had such a bad experience. The first semester went well, but after that, the teachers basically stopped answering anything. The only teacher who would ever reach out to me was my algebra teacher, who was super kind and very easy to get in contact with. Every other teacher basically stopped reaching out to me, and if I would message them, it could take them at least 3 days to get back to me! Today was my last day of the school year, and my school used to go by quarters (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th). The first quarter went decently, as I said before, but after that, it just went downhill, especially once I got my AP US Government and Politics teacher. Every assignment for her class had to be a written response, which I really didn't mind, but after I submitted my first assignment wrong, she didn't tell me what I needed to fix. But that wasn't the issue; the issue was that I had messaged her twice in one week about how to do the assignment, and she never responded to me. During my 3rd quarter, I failed every class because the teachers had stopped grading my work! I then reached out to my high school principal, and that got me nowhere. A few weeks later, I got an email from him saying I was at risk of not moving on to the next grade. I was devastated. I had gone from a straight A student to a straight F student. I have also reached out to Edmentum support multiple times, and they always said they were looking into things, then never got back to me. My main issues were the huge lack of communication and then just not grading ANYTHING. I also find it very ignorant and unacceptable that I had to reach out to these "teachers" more than 5 times about the same issues just to get a response. I really do not recommend Edmentum unless you want to wait weeks for unresponsive teachers and failing grades.
