Chase Manhattan BankReviews of e.chase.com

I have been with Chase for 5 * years. Not good lots of security problems. When you ring phone answered in Philippines. You explain problems somebody puts you through to someone you have to explain everything to all over again. Call ends 3 hours later you get a text message ring us. You do again. Same thing all over again so frustrating. Monday account was unable to get into App. Rang them oh yes can we ring you back. 2 hours later call back. Your account under review. Why is that? How long for? No idea 1 hour 1 day 1 week who knows. Why is it in review? Don’t know, they will be in touch. Cannot get access to my money. It’s Monday my cupboards empty no food milk nothing. No means to get money. Tuesday still no access. Rang again. Told you’ll just have to wait it’s in review department could be days weeks months. Can I speak to a Manager. Waited 5 minutes none available. Will get somebody to ring me. At 15.00pm got a call do you have somewhere to put your monies from the Chase account yes. Gave them sort code etc. 2 hours later in a back up account I had. Still no idea why account closed. Got an email, review finished, account closed. Why no idea?? Why, no idea no explanation! I am a 71 year old badly disabled guy. Can get out on my own. So get my shopping delivered. No food no hot drinks for 48 hours until Chase closed my account. No notice or anything so I could take steps to make sure I had everything in home. Very badly treated I was with them as I say 5 + years. Warning if you join Chase they will treat you like something on the bottom of their shoe. They have no loyalty to customers.

It is interesting to me that when you ask a phone representative to speak with a supervisor at chase the call gets dropped. It must be a coincidence.

We were tourists in NYC and needed to change up some large dollar bills for smaller denominations. We had already tried our hotel (non cash), a few shops (credit card only) and the post office, who suggested the Chase Bank at 405 Lexington Avenue NYC. They honestly couldn't have been more helpful and although it was probably not a big deal for them, they were so helpful, polite and welcoming, it meant so much to us, after being turned down by so many. Even the young man on the door was polite and cheerful.

I've banked with chase a few years, last week I bought a high value watch from a reputable dealer, and after a few security questions the transaction was approved. Today I decided to make another purchase from the same vendor, using exactly the same payment derails, and not only was the transaction refused, my 3 chase accounts were frozen, meaning I had no access to money And despite several calls I was told I might get a call today to resolve the issue, this I found unacceptable, I was left literally penniless ! There was no logical reason to cancel today's transaction as it used exactly the same details, other than it was for a smaller amount! This whole episode has caused me stress, embarrestment and seek medical advice, chase will say they are looking after their customers interests, but they should be ashamed after the way I was treated today Obviously I am looking at alternative banks to transfer my accouns

When we opened a checking account, and a very large amount of cash into a 3 Month CD… we were told and had (in writing)… that we would receive a $3000 incentive payment just for opening the accounts after the CD matured. Once that happened we went in to the Yulee Florida branch at Wildlight. We were then told that they made a mistake and we were not eligible for the $3k. They take advantage af older people who have large amounts of money to invest and then pull a bait and switch scheme. AVOID THIS BANK AT ALL COSTS. They are scam artists and they will not amend their mistakes to make the customer happy. FRAUD ALERT!

Only lies and betray towarts me. No intension to help or do a deposit while i paid the fee

Racist branch in Tampa called police on a man for banking while black. It's all over the news and social media. That branch manager needs to be FIRED!!!!!

These people have made banking and living hell!! They without my knowledge or consent put a block on my debit card. No reason. I have been a good customer in good standing for 16 yrs. It was about 4 months of understanding why. At that point I told them to remove the block and they did. Then began flagging my rent transaction every month. I have many conversations about this with no resolution. With many snobbish and arrogant reps. I laugh at their unprofessionalisim.i have decided to have my social security deposited onto a visa express card. I have told them I am going to stop them. It will take about 2 months to get it started. In the meantime I will go to the branch and withdraw cash to pay rent. They have been very unprofessional to say the least about them and their attitude. There is a password they are supposed to ask me everything I call and they do not. I can not after 16vyrsvsay anything good about chase. .
