Overall, the instructors were very helpful. Aside from that, I made sure I was diligent on retaining information and learning the maneuvers. The hands on training was key.

Because of DMV issues I stayed at school a few weeks longer but DRC usually get their students out within 5 weeks. It was a great experience and I wont forget our instructors, Leslie and Chuck. They really are the best .

Why do you all not put people in better hotels? We already don’t get paid training like most companies nor food. Stop being so cheap and offer people better rooming. Robinson Inn and Suites is the most disgusting place I’ve ever been. Dead bugs on the walls and roaches crawling around. Is this the best you can do? Drug paraphernalia all over the place. Hallways reek of smoke and other odors.

The instructors, Doug, Amos, and Ray were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They are the best! I was given a test date after having just three weeks in training. And, unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond their control, I only had about four and a half hours actually behind the wheel of the manual tractor. Without their expertise, guidance, and patience, I would not have been able to pass my CDL-A test the first time. It is a great school. I highly recommend it!
