DougscustomluresReviews of dougscustomlures.com

Doug's Custom Lures builds fishing baits designed from the ground up for Midwest anglers who want confidence in their tackle, not just another option to scroll past. Every profile in the lineup starts on Doug's home water across Wisconsin and surrounding states, where it gets tested through weeknight leagues, weekend tournaments, and real fishing pressure before it ever reaches a customer's box.The philosophy is simple - if it doesn't produce on Doug's water, it doesn't make the cut. That means pressured bass, roaming walleye, and constantly changing conditions have shaped every bait in the catalog. No trend-chasing, no catalog fillers. Just proven profiles refined through repetition until they do exactly what they're supposed to do.The lineup covers jigs, soft plastics, topwater, and bladed baits, each built around specific fishing situations rather than general use cases. Heavy cover and shallow targets, offshore structure, cold front and high pressure days, wind and reaction bites - every category exists because Doug has faced those exact situations and put in the reps to figure out what works. The baits reflect that process.Beyond the products, Doug's Custom Lures is built to help anglers fish with more intention. A full rigging guide, situation-based shopping, and technique content come with the store so customers aren't just buying a bait - they're getting the reasoning behind it and the confidence to tie it on in the right situation.Orders ship from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with free shipping on orders over $50 and a $6.99 flat rate on everything else. If you fish the Upper Midwest, these baits were built with your water in mind and tested on the same lakes and rivers you're fishing right now.
