Recently bought (2) NY Strips
Recently bought (2) NY Strips. Shipped fast and packaged well to preserve them. Steaks were only 1/2" thick. Had heavy marbling so had to cook very gently to prevent overcooking. Honestly, the marbling overwhelmed the steak's beef content and just tasted fatty. It was disappointing. I expected the steaks to be at least 3/4" thick or thicker. I've bought Wagyu many times from other sources and had a much better experience. Will not buy again. Not worth the price.
