DIMO helps you make better choices and save money by unlocking the information your car collects automatically. Whether it's checking oil levels, knowing how much your car is worth, or getting personalized insurance rates, DIMO puts your car's data to work for you. Just plug in your DIMO device or download the free app if your car is already connected, and start getting the most out of your car. We have “connected” everything - watches, doorbells, even refrigerators. But what about the computer on wheels that we use every day? Your car collects valuable information that’s used by manufacturers, dealers, and mechanics. Now, you can see that same data, real-time in a simple, easy-to-use app. Plus get added features like privacy-protected GPS and keyless entry while earning $DIMO rewards along the way. With DIMO, almost any car can be a “smart” car.

In Portuguese…..

Nice project but had some difficulties pairing the device with my car. Also the rewards are getting lower each week and should be something the team should change and have a different system where people would keep getting the same rewards every week.

Hey there Nuno, Thank you so much for your feedback on the project. DIMO rewards users for being connected and users who participate in our marketplace. You can earn additional DIMO by utilizing our partners like Tenet, Caramel, Bluedot, and more straight from the marketplace tab in the DIMO mobile app. Thank you, Shaolin

Hey there Giri, Thank you for your feedback on our product. Our referral program works similarly to other companies to where once you finish connecting to our service, you are unable to go back and add in the referral code. For more information on how our referral program works or to learn how to share/use a referral code, please check this link. https://support.drivedimo.com/en-US/articles/rewards-&-bonuses-80196 Thank you, DIMO Team
Locks me out of my car app, no legitimate response to the couple questions I asked , such as why is my car app password changed by your app and I can’t get in when using your app, why do you need access to lock and unlock my car doors . Just strange to me , too much control of my private things. UPDATE: DIMO contacted me and told me that ford is the one changing the password on my Lincoln app. If that’s true then my original 1 star is unwarranted and I apologize to DIMO. I unfortunately cannot work with an app that cannot integrate with my original Lincoln app.

Hey there Daniel, It looks like you are referring to the issues about your Lincoln. Lincoln, as you know, is the Luxury version of Ford. Ford recently has established Anti-consumer practices around their Vehicle applications, allowing 3rd parties like Smartcar to access it. DIMO is not forcing a password change on you; that would be Ford's doing. They are working on scaring users into not utilizing apps to which they see fit to connect. As for the Lock/Unlock car door feature, this is to allow our app to query the door commands to your vehicle on your behalf. We want to ensure everyone knows the access you may grant to our application. Thank you, DIMO Team
I thought as I drove more it would give me more Dino’s but it did not

DIMO Rewards are designed to reward users who provide continuous reliable data. For this reason, rewards increase the longer you stay connected rather than the more you drive. You can earn a streak by staying connected each week and move to higher reward levels. We apologize for the confusion and disappointment. Not all features work. The code scanner does not work.

If you have a DIMO Macaron or a DIMO AutoPi, the error code scanner should work. Please contact [email protected] so they can look into your specific account. Please note, they are still working through holiday backlog and may take 2-3 business days to respond in detail.
The organization is new, but the team is nice and works hard, always trying to move one step further. In the case of Macaron, the location of the vehicle on the map appears as the location of the last connected hotspot instead of its actual location. You need to revise this situation as soon as possible to show the instant and accurate vehicle location. My biggest expectation from the big update that you said will come in January is map data. I hope that over time, you will make more data available to macaron users based on vehicle brands and models.

Thanks for your support and feedback. This is expected and known behavior, but we know it can and should be improved. We currently default to the hotspot location when GPS signal is weak. We’re planning on improving how we indicate a weak signal in the upcoming months so users have a better understanding why and when their location may not be accurate.
Drained both of my car batteries twice. Installation is a breeze but I do not trust leaving the device plugged into my cars after the experience.
