The posted price on the shoe display doesn’t represent the true price. It’s a trick to lure you in to buy shoes at a higher price.

Ordered a Leatherman Surge, and I picked this retailer versus othes solely because of the shipping estimate they gave. They didn't even ship the item until a day before the due date, and when I called customer service they were vague and offered no information, and acted like I was being silly to be concerned about the shipping. And since the shipping label had been created on day one the item was considered "shipped" so conveniently the order couldn't be cancelled, even though of course the item was not actually shipped at that point. It did end up coming on time, surprisingly, but I also noticed the plastic sticker on the bottom of the Leatherman box had already been cut, indicating this is not a brand new item. The box was also missing the manual, as a clue. The multitiool is in like-new condition so I'll keep it to avoid additional hassle, but I don't like that they obviously sold an open box item as new, and didn't offer the discount that normally comes with open box.

Happy with the selection in-store, but the customer service was terrible (actually non-existent). I was in-store on a day and time when they were not busy, but NO ONE spoke to me, greeted me, asked if I needed help -- and this was my first time in their HUGE store, so for once I actually did need help finding things. When sent a survey, I detailed all this information and now months later there has been absolutely no follow-up email or anything. Very disappointing.

Dick's is one of last sporting goods stores to survive. Maybe because they bought out all their competitors. First it was Galyans, then Sports Authority and who's next? Their prices are very high and their inventory is shrinking. I know this pandemic has caused havoc with supply, but they don't have much and the eliminated hunting dept altogether. I hope Academy Sports hangs in there

Wow, I see a lot of bad reviews. I haven't had the same problems as what I'm reading. I had a 3 experience. I found the cleats I wanted and the guy who helped was cool and there's a lot to choose from so I left happy. Not bad not super special. Just good.
