DICK'S Sporting GoodsReviews of dickssportinggoods.com

Tomorrow is easter and we were going to suprise my nieces with a 14 ft trampoline. we decided to put it up tonight instead of tomorrow morning. There were missing pieces and missing parts of the outside where the springs connect to, it wasn’t close to making a full circle. in the box said “no returns”, now we have very upset 3 and 5 year old confused why we got all the pieces out started working on it and had to put it all back. easter is now ruined for them and waste of $340+

Strongsville Ohio store, 3/27/2021. I am a person of colour , I thought I was being treated differently. But then , I checked their review online . Good I did that , seems like that’s how everyone is treated. Zero customer service , this young lady at the women running shoe section was tired after bringing out just two pairs of shoes and kept asking me if I “want it or not”. If I need it I would have picked up. End of the day , they did not have my size, then I went to Northolmstead they carried my size , I bought it too . However , the customer service rep did not have any knowledge. All the same.

If I could give minus 0 star I would. I ordered two Kayaks , the shipping company first of delivered the wrong kayaks not even on the date they were supposed to be delivered , so we were not home and they just sat them in my front yard, no wrapping plastic or carton nothing into the dirt. Then I got a call from set person that they delivered after the fact . I called back right away informing them that they were the wrong ones , after an attitude they came back to get them in in old beat up pickup that the kayaks didn’t even fit in . I called customer service to inform them about the mix up the wrong date and how nasty ,gross the delivery guys were and not to mention rude. About 2 hrs later they came back with my kayaks again not wrapped , handles missing , again not even ringing my doorbell set them in the dirt again in front of my house . Then the next day I got an email saying I signed for the yaks never signed a thing. Do yourself a favorite and go to a store to buy kayaks . Terrible company, never again I would buy anything online from them again .

A total waste of time. I purchased a bike online to pick up from a local store, system showed they had several in stock when I placed the order, the next day they sent me an email saying they didn’t have any more bikes in stock and gave me the option to pick a different store, I picked a different store 20 miles from my house showing the bike in stock. A few minutes later, I received an email saying they cancelled my order because they were, suddenly, out of stock as well. I checked back online and the stores were still showing the bike in stock. I even chatted with them and they confirmed the bike was in stock ata local store but since they had already cancelled the order I had to go to the store myself and buy it. Such a waste of time to even consider this store. Never again.

Horrible company will never shop here again. I ordered $300 worth of merchandise. They ship thru FedEx both are rude lazie company's. I have now been on the phone with 6 FedEx personnel. They all say the same thing I have to call the company it's there problem. I called dick's sporting goods and I'm just supposed to sit here for days on end and wait. It was supposed to be here yesterday (no show) supposed to be here today ( no show). I was told I'm supposed to sit here and wait for a week. Really what a aweful company. Rejecting your items FedEx will bring them back to you. I'm contacting my bank to get my money back. HORRIBLE CUSTUMER SERVICE. Don't buy from here.

Anti-American company. It’s a shame that an outdoors and sporting goods store supports unconstitutional gun control measures.

I would give zero stars if I could. I live in Turlock, Ca. and wanted to buy a kayak but the closest store that had it in stock was a 109 miles away in Folsom, Ca. I called to verify if they had the Vibe Yellowfin 100 kayak and explained I would be driving to the store to pick it up. I wanted it asap for a fishing trip I had planned for 2 days from now. so I bought it online last night and drove the 109 miles today to the Folsom store. I used their curbside pick up service that they provide. I then drove 109 miles back home. when I got home and unloaded the kayak I noticed the right foot peg was missing and the connecting hinge on the chair is broken as well. I called the Folsom store and spoke to a manager who told me he couldn't do anything to help me unless I drove all the way back up there. I don't I know what he could've done for me if I went back there that he couldn't do me here at home. so now I have a $700 kayak that I cannot use and will be missing the fishing trip in 2 days all because the staff who bring the merchandise out to the curbside pick up have no sense of quality control and obviously do not check to make sure that everything is there and that nothing is broken. I am blown away that not 1 but 2 quality control issues happened with my order. so I'm just going to return it to the store here in my town for a refund. unfortunately I'm still losing if you count the 218 miles I drove and the gas it took to drive there plus I'm not going to be able to make my fishing trip so all the gear and supplies I bought will not be used either. I have shopped and spent a lot of money at DSG over the years and because of this incident and the fact that I was given an item that is broken and missing key components and then had the manager pretty much tell me to get boned and not make things right I will never shop at another DSG again and will get as many people as i can to boycott them as well. there is no reason why the manager couldn't send me a replacement foot peg and chair when I know they have more Vibe kayaks there in the store. very sad customer support and terrible quality control and a manager who doesn't want to make right the wrongs his employees made on my purchase

My experience with this store's "No Sweat Protection Plan" was bad enough to keep me from shopping here ever again. I bought an expensive baseball mitt for my son there, and they HARD sell the protection plan to you at the register, saying that its broad coverage that replaces your glove if its lost or stolen or damaged for any reason. Literally we were told the plan is basically "a free glove". Well three months later my son leaves his glove outside, and we get a freak winter storm for a solid week followed by massive thunderstorms the week after that. Glove is destroyed in the weather. So I filed my claim online, but rather than honor the plan it automatically routs you to a dead end screen saying they won't cover this because the manufacturers warranty is still in effect. The manufactures warranty covers manufacturing defects, not accidental damage. That's why I bought the plan in the first place. So now I call the plan to speak on the phone, but before I even finish explaining what happened, they tell me its not covered because it was damaged in a "natural disaster." I reiterated that this was a winter storm, not natural disaster. So he puts me on hold for awhile, and then he comes back and says its not covered because its not covered now because it was damaged by the weather which falls into the category of "dust, heat, and humidity." I'm a lawyer so I've read the policy and recognized the language he's quoting. It's from the definition of "breakdown"... which is literally the one and only thing that IS covered by this policy. I pointed this out. He disappears on hold again. Finally he comes back and says that now it's not covered because the only thing that's covered is "normal wear and tear." So never mind that "normal wear and tear", like "dust heat and humidity," is just one more of the five occurrences they list as the definition of a covered "breakdown". Another one is "unintentional and accidental damage from handling as a result of normal use of the product"... like a kid unintentionally and accidentally leaving his glove outside where it gets worn and torn in the weather. Long story short, this protection plan is a scam. They had no intention of covering anything at all for any reason. The plan reps didn't even realized that they were quoting covered conditions from the policy to explain why they won't cover the replacement for those very same reasons. I will not shop here again. This store will flat out lie to hard sell you a plan with no coverage at all through a third party scammer that Dick's surely knows to be a scam if they've googled their stores plan even once and seen the deluge of complaints. I'm now out $160 on a glove we used for less than five months just to feel taken advantage of after wasting an hour of my time trying to use their so called No Sweat Protection Plan. I wish someone out there would have protected me from Dick's Sporting Goods.
