Bruce, Thank you for taking time to give us your feedback on your recent claim.
Experience was extremely bad. I started my claim at a mechanic shop in MD. That shop refused to allow Diamond Warranty to ship a used part to them for installation, so I was then tasked to find another shop. Diamond Warranty suggested a different shop and told me that they could get my car in that same day. I took my car to the recommended shop and dropped it off. I then had to get a rental car because my car would be at the shop for what was thought to be a couple of days. I was contacted by Diamond Warranty later in the day and was informed that the part would not be sent to the shop until the following Tuesday. The current day of the week at that time was Thursday so the part was about 5 days out. Tuesday comes and I am calling the mechanic shop checking to see if the part had arrived throughout the day and I was told that the part was not there. I contacted Diamond Warranty and informed them that the part was not at the shop and was then told that the part was to arrive Tuesday or Wednesday and if it was not at the shop by Wednesday morning then the shipping company would be contacted. Wednesday afternoon comes and the part still had not arrived at the shop. I contacted Diamond Warranty again to inform them about the part and was told that I would get a call back. When I received a call back later in the day I was told that the part was actually shipped to the first shop that I initially started a claim with but refused to do the work. How this happened, I have no clue. So I was then tasked with having to go and pick the part up from the shop that it was incorrectly shipped to and drop it off at the shop that my car was located. I did this Thursday morning and all throughout the day on Thursday I am being told that Diamond Warranty was giving the shop a hard time about what they would cover and what they would not cover. At one point I was told that I would have to pay an additional $450 on top of my $100 deductible because of Diamond Warranty's refusal to include certain work in my claim. This was not resolved until later in the day which limited the time that the shop had to perform the work, which forced me to extend my rental car agreement. Long story short, my car was not ready until Saturday morning, I ended up coming out of pocket $230 for my repairs and an additional $220 for the rental car, which I am told that I will be reimbursed for. This experience was by far the most painful service experience I have ever had to endure. I am very disappointed that I spent my money with Diamond Warranty. It was not worth the 2k+ dollars that I spent. I hope and pray that I don't ever have to file another claim.

Matthew, We appreciate your feedback! The labor rates for our policies differ depending on which plan was purchased. Should you ever need to file a claim again in the future, we would be more than happy to recommend a local repair shop that we have worked with in your area or one of our national fleet accounts to avoid any differences in labor rates. Larin, We will take a look at your claim to address your concerns. Currently, most vehicle manufacturers don't make their own parts or every part for the vehicles they manufacture and assemble. Most of them use the same suppliers that we call on for parts pricing and fulfillment. We assure you that the suppliers we rely are on-par or above the expectations for each specific vehicle. Sometimes it's hard to control part pricing with different repair shops. If you have any additional questions about parts/pricing, especially if you need assistance again in the future, we would be happy to work with you to address an questions or concerns.
