Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your great experience with Helen :)
Helen & Daniela are 2 of the most amazing women I've ever spoken to in customer service. They are the main reasons I continued to use Destify. They make your experience feel so personal and really make your happiness feel most important. 10/10 extremely highly recommend. Cannot use anyone else !

Thanks for your 5-star review for Helen and Daniela! We are so happy to hear of your amazing experience and recommendation.
Destify Was Completely Useless When Anything Went Wrong If everything goes perfectly, maybe Destify is fine. The moment anything goes wrong—especially within 14 days before or after the wedding—you are completely on your own. Our experience was unacceptable, heartless, and rigidly bureaucratic during what was a family medical emergency. ROOM CHANGES REFUSED DESPITE EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES A room had been fully paid for and reserved by the groom’s 93-year-old grandfather. Forty-eight hours before travel, he broke his hip and required surgery and could not attend the wedding. The hotel itself said they were willing to change the occupant name—but Destify had to request it. We asked Destify to simply change the occupant name on the paid room to the best man, who is also the grandfather’s grandson and had a mix-up with his own room and had nowhere to stay. Destify refused. Their reasons: • “Company policy: no changes can be made from 15 days through the wedding.” • “We would have to speak directly to the original occupant.” This was impossible because: • He was literally undergoing surgery and recovering from a broken hip. • I held legal power of attorney and offered to fax or email it. Destify’s response? • “We don’t have a fax machine.” • “Emailing it wouldn’t matter.” • “Company policy—no changes.” • “We still have to talk to the original occupant.” NO COMPASSION. NO FLEXIBILITY. NO PROBLEM-SOLVING! BEST MAN LEFT WITHOUT A ROOM When we asked Destify to help find any room for the best man because the hotel was now full, they again repeated: “Company policy—no changes can be made.” THE RESULT? • The paid room stayed empty for the entire week • The best man slept on a regular sofa (not a sofa bed) and still paid the same amount as if he had a room REFUND REFUSED We then asked for the grandfather’s money to be refunded since the room went unused due to a medical emergency. Again: • “Company policy” • “We need to talk to the original occupant” They eventually did speak to him—and still refused the refund. TRANSPORTATION FAILURES Transportation arranged and paid for through Destify was another disaster: • The bride and groom were never picked up before the wedding • They were also not dropped off at the airport afterward • The bride’s parents were never picked up from the airport When the bride’s parents called Destify after waiting, they were repeatedly told transportation was “coming any minute.” After an hour, they gave up and took a cab. Final Thoughts: These are only the issues I personally knew about. I can only imagine what other guests dealt with that we never even heard about. Destify hides behind “company policy” instead of helping real people during real emergencies. No advocacy, no coordination, no accountability—just scripted responses and indifference. I would never recommend Destify to anyone planning a destination wedding. When you need help the most, they simply disappear.

Hi Suzanne, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We truly appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention and understand how frustrating this situation must have been, especially so close to travel. Because your reservation involves multiple parties, including a third-party supplier, we are required to follow specific policies to ensure accuracy and timely processing. For this reason, any changes to a booking must be completed at least 14 days prior to check-in. Unfortunately, requests received within 48 hours of arrival fall outside of the timeframe in which modifications can be completed through our supplier, even if the resort indicates flexibility on their end. We also understand the challenging circumstances surrounding the room manager being unavailable due to surgery, and we sincerely empathize with the stress that may have caused. While we appreciate your willingness to provide a power of attorney, the limited timeframe before check-in did not allow us to move forward with changes at that stage. This is one of the reasons we often recommend travel insurance, as it can be helpful in unexpected situations like this. Regarding room availability, our packages do not include reserved room blocks for wedding groups, so accommodations are always subject to availability at the time of booking. We encourage guests to secure their reservations as early as possible to ensure the best options, particularly during high-demand travel periods. We are so sorry that the best man had difficulty in securing a room. Lastly, while transportation services are provided by a separate partner, we take your feedback very seriously and apologize for the experience you encountered. We will be reviewing this matter internally as part of our ongoing effort to maintain high service standards. Thank you again for sharing your feedback. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there is anything further we can assist with.
Helen was fantastic. I had spoken to a young man on a different call earlier and he was not as helpful. Helen was fantastic in that she corrected my issue very quickly.
