Thank you for the feedback. This review is about not liking the fragrances, and that is what sampling is for. A decant lets you try a scent before committing to a full bottle and not every fragrance suits every nose. Every decant is drawn straight from the original retail bottle and bought from authorized sellers. We do not refund opened decants and not liking a fragrance is not a reason for a refund. Both points are stated on our site before purchase. The full policy is at decanthouse.com/faq#returns. Regards Drew

This order was delivered on August 20. It included a 10ml and a 3ml decant of Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP filled from the same bottle for the same shipment. Two decants drawn from one bottle contain the same fragrance. One cannot be Baccarat Rouge 540 while the other is something else. We received no message about the order in the five weeks between delivery and this review. Every decant we ship is filled straight from an original bottle purchased from authorized distributors and department stores or from the brand directly. Nothing is diluted. Each decant is labeled with the order number and the card in every package names the team member who filled it. A significant number of Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP decants have shipped to other customers from this same stock in the last two months. A message through the Contact Us page on our site is how an order problem gets looked at and made right. Regards, Drew

Hello Albie, With all due respect, I believe you have us confused with another decant company and are mistaken. Was not able to find any order information or communication about your concerns. We did not build our business over the last five years with hard work, money and sweat only to throw it all away by doing something as stupid as you claim. Our company is well known in the fragrance community for being authentic and genuine. On reddit, in the r/fragrance channel which boasts over 2M subs are listed as one of a handful of trusted decanters. You do not get on that list by ripping people off. Not to mention we have over 1100+ reviews on this very review site at 4.8 out of 5. All verified reviews! But somehow your review is not verified. For those reading, do your homework on our company. We have nothing to hide and stand by our business ethics. Regards, Drew

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. All our samples are filled using bottles purchased directly from an authorized distributor or the brand itself. Claims of short longevity or "not exact" smell stem from the well-known reality of fragrance: it's one of the most subjective categories in personal care. Reformulations, skin type, chemistry, climate, and even how/when it's applied dictate how it behaves—no two experiences are identical. As for the price, this is also subjective as well. Not liking the fragrance can have an influence on perceived value. Our pricing is very competitive if you check around. Since you are unhappy with your purchase, we have provided a refund for your order. Sorry we were not a good fit. Perhaps one of our awesome competitors will be more suited to your needs. Hope this helps. Regards, Drew

Hello Valencya, Very disappointed to hear about your leaking sample. It is extremely rare but does happen from time to time. I was not able find an email or phone call regarding this issue. We do offer replacements. If you would like a replacement, please give us a call. We would like the opportunity to earn an improvement for this review. Regards, Drew

To the public reader, I am going to paste a translation for people who do not understand Spanish. I will then follow up with my response below in both English and also Spanish. And it seems there is some loss of context as well. I will try and do my best to interpret. English Translation: "They take a long time, they charge for delivery and the size is for dolls apart from the fact that the price is almost half of a large and original one... Horrible I don't buy anymore...." Response English: Hello Cleidy, Order was placed after hours on 6/14 (Saturday). Order shipped on 6/17 (Tuesday). This is two day processing. We have an average processing time of three days. So, we shipped earlier than we advertise. Shipping paid was for USPS Ground. This is our most economical and slowest shipping method which is three to five days. Order was delivered on 6/20 (Friday). Total time from order to delivery was seven days. This is typical and our average is between seven to ten days. As for the price, it sounds like there is a complaint. This is a bit shocking and sounds like no research was done prior to purchasing. Our prices have been complimented many times. We keep them as low as possible but we also need profit to put food on our employees tables. Our business is not run out of a basement. It is unfortunate you did not have a good experience with our company and we wish you all the best. Saludos, Drew

Hello Moises, This is not a typical problem we have. Especially since the bottles we use have extremely thick glass. In your case, there were two. One 5ml and one 10ml. Is there a reason why you chose not to contact customer service about this issue? We are very reasonable and generous with replacements in these situations. I suspect you may be confusing us with another company which does happen from time to time. If we are mistaken, please contact us to resolve your issue. Regards, Drew

Hello Shelly, Thank you for taking the time to review our service and company. Shelly, with all due respect, we 100% do not sell counterfeit fragrances. Every fragrance is decanted straight from the bottle when you place your order. Consider this. Why in the world would we go through the trouble of building a business with an excellent reputation only to do somethin stupid to tear it all down? Also, don't you think after three years in business we would have a worse rating than 4.8 and over 700 reviews? A lot of time, money, blood and sweat has been put into this company. I take FAKE accusations very serious because it is just not true. We know 100% what we are buying and what you receive is genuine. Are you aware there are two versions of BR540? An EDP and also and Extrait? You did purchased the Extrait. Did you mean to purchase the EDP instead? They smell very different. Batch variations can also be the cause. Brands do this all the time. Or, we may have made a mistake. It is rare but can happen unintentionally. If you have an issue with your order, the proper procedure is to get in contact with us. We can have the item returned and have a replacement sent out. Hope this helps. Regards, Drew
