Dear Kim, Thank you for your feedback, even if it is not positive. We regret that, through no fault of our own, we did not meet your expectations. Your order was delivered on June 9, which was delayed by one day. We completely understand how frustrating delays and heat exposure can feel, especially when you're expecting sensitive materials. Regarding the temperature concern: while your package may have reached temperatures near 90°F during delivery, please rest assured that Sodium Dichloroacetate (DCA) remains chemically stable well beyond that range. Based on published thermogravimetric and calorimetric studies, DCA does not begin to chemically degrade until it reaches temperatures around 392 °F. Short-term exposure to typical shipping temperatures, even during warmer weather, does not compromise the integrity or efficacy of the compound. That said, we do understand your expectations for more protective packaging. We’re always looking to improve our shipping practices, and your feedback is very helpful in that regard. Sincerely, DCA LAB Team
