They haven't responded to a claim of missing items and a broken furniture piece.

Once we made it to the east coast destination customer service was sketchy with a hard to reach agent leading to uncertainty and frustration. Boxes arrived in worse condition than expected. However there was no serious damage done to belongings.

Thank you for your review. We are apart of the Mayflower/United Van Lines network of providers and utilize our agent partners around the country when necessary. If you could send your order number (or at least the destination you moved to) to [email protected] we would definitely address these concerns with the agent in question.
My belongings were moved from Texas to Indiana . They arrived as scheduled, and I was updated by the driver regularly. Everything was held in storage for 3 months. As we moved from storage to the new house, I found many things damaged. Large appliances that you wouldn't think to plug in and check right off the truck....legs on couches, broken pictures, mirrors, glassware that was packed by the movers. I was slightly disappointed by the care taken for my belongings. In summary, the driver was pleasant and reliable, and kept me informed. The people they hired to pack and load were not of great quality.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We apologize for the packing quality that resulted in damages. We will give this information to our quality team to review further so that we can access where we need to improve.
I would not recommend this company. Daryl Flood wrapped and packed breakables for us and unpacked at the new house. Waterford and fine crystal was broken, five furniture items were damaged and two silk lamp shades were were so bad they had to be thrown away. The Flood agent knew that we were going to be out of the country for a month and said to get the insurance claim in when we could. Our relatively low claim was mailed in time, but the fine print stated it had to be received by, not mailed by. It arrived ONE day late. Our small claim for $500 was DENIED. So, why bother to take out insurance or to trust a company employee?

Everyone we dealt with was very nice. However, the time it took to pack our things was torturous. If I recall correctly, it took 8-10 hours. It was estimated to take much less time than that, but they only sent two men. These two men did a great job. But if I had known that this was going to to happen, I would not have booked the company.
