This was our first group tour, and it was perfect. The scenery is beautiful, the hotels quaint. There was a nice blend of organized and independent time during the tour. We especially enjoyed going to Port Isaac, as we are big Doc Martin fans. We also enjoyed the Minack Theater. What a spectacular venue. A thank you to David, Tim, and Harry for sharing their love and knowledge of the area with us. You all made it a very special trip.

Cornwall speaks for itself. It's beautiful, peaceful, slow-paced and refreshing. I can't recall when I saw so much green & lush open-space, adorned with flowers everywhere (June tour). I found it 'therapeutic'. What adds to this pleasant feeling is that David of Dacey's Cornish Tours offers you a comfortable, casual, small-group tour of the many lovely areas of Cornwall. Being part of a small group makes it easier to get to know your fellow travelers, and makes it easier to navigate around the sites we visited. David chose venues that were interesting and held something for everyone to enjoy. With David's obvious love of the area, he explained the charm of each place we visited. We were able to explore at our own pace, but with guidance and assistance, if needed. Harry and Tim, who were also our ‘guides’, shared their knowledge and sentiment about specific areas of Cornwall. All three gents were delightful & easy-going. The hotels were all clean and comfortable, and were pretty convenient to the touring sites (or were a ‘short walk’ to get there.) David’s organization skills were apparent, because the tour venues were readily available for us, and the hotels’ staff warmly welcomed us. In addition, prior to our trip, David kept us up-to-date via e-mails about the plans & itinerary, which helped us to develop a rapport before we met in person. I definitely recommend this tour company, and I’d love to return to Cornwall with them again someday!

We enjoyed David, Tim, and Harry immensely and they led our group flawlessly through the best sites in Cornwall. The scenery and villages were absolutely amazing and we enjoyed meeting people both in our tour group and in the towns. Dacey's Cornish Tours gives you the best of scenery, attractions, shopping, and dining all in one. The variety was perfect for us.

I can't extol enough the delights of discovering wonderful Cornwall with Dacey's Cornish Tours. Dave's newsletters set the scene and we were never disappointed with what we experienced. I scoured the Net and never found another tour which offers such a comprehensive itinerary covering all of the important places to see. The Minack Theatre is a 'must see' - absolutely amazing!!. Dave, Harry and Tim are a fabulous team, professional and efficient in their work and yet such fun to be with. Nothing was ever too much for them. It really was like travelling with friends. We appreciated the opportunities to have some guided tours and still have plenty of time to explore on our own. A fantastic experience!

Loved seeing the countryside of Cornwall. I appreciated the timeline, accommodations and mix of sightseeing experiences. I ended my tour with a full heart and tired feet with no regrets. David, Harry and Tim were all lovely English guides.

Where to start......David, Harry and Tim made this trip a stand out in my travels. People who know and love Cornwall as 'guides' – I felt they were friends by the end – they were able to share their love of this special place. I am not a big fan of guided tours but this one with a small group was perfect. People who knew what to see and gave us time to see it. None of that 'on the bus in 45 minutes' stuff. And then there is Cornwall – so beautiful, with its charming and quirky villages and coastal scenery that is breath taking. And the accommodations were top-notch. Plus the personal interaction before the trip (funny newsletters and always a return e-mail asap if a question needed answering) was wonderful. Wish I could include pictures but really just go yourself to see and experience this magical place with David and crew.

This is the only way to see and truly experience Cornwall and learn for yourself why so many have fallen in love with this oh so BEAUTIFUL part of England. You owe it to yourself to take Dacey's Tour of Cornwall for many reasons but the most important ones would be 1) personal attention, 2) itinerary, 3) accommodations, and the joy and laughter David, Harry and Tim shared while showing us the Cornwall they love so much. "Being from Norway, this was our first trip to Cornwall. We saw it wasn't easy to plan a trip on our own in Cornwall. We therefore chose to join Daceys Cornish Tours, and our expectations for the tour, based on the website, were more than fulfilled: Interesting and beautiful places to see, to mention a few of them: picturesque small towns as Port Isaac and St. Ives, the Minack theatre, Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the National Trust Property of Landhydrock, the guided tour in Exeter. This may seem as busy days, but they weren't. The group was small, and we think this was part of making the tour a success. David made us all feel relaxed, we were well taken care of and given personal attention. To travel with David, Harry and Tim, telling us stories about Cornwall's history, new and old, showed us their love for Cornwall. The hotels were carefully chosen and had high standard, more than we expected. Before the trip David sent us information and tips about the tour, and was always quick to answer when we asked for information.
