Crypto Tax GirlReviews of cryptotaxgirl.com

I just want to start off by saying: oh my God. I first spoke to Stephan six months ago. At the time, I thought the service was expensive, so I held off and went with a local crypto tax specialist here in Phoenix instead. That was a huge mistake. The local specialist incorrectly told me that I didn’t need to do anything until I sold the crypto I received and that it would just go by the cost basis. I kept telling him he was wrong—especially since I didn't receive the same amount of coin I originally had in Celsius—but after a lot of frustrating back-and-forth, I gave up and called Crypto Tax Girl again. Working with Stephan the second time around was absolutely amazing. Yes, it is expensive, but I felt I had no choice. It turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Not only did they use less time than they originally quoted me, but they were incredibly thorough and found things I never would have discovered on my own. They even reviewed my past tax years and identified which ones could be amended. Most importantly, they uncovered a $75,000 capital loss that I am going to need exactly for my 2026 taxes. Meanwhile, the local Phoenix specialist claimed I had zero losses until I sold—which was completely incorrect. When you weigh Crypto Tax Girl's specialized knowledge against their higher price, the money and stress they save you completely outweighs the fee. On top of that, they work fast. I highly recommend Stephan and the team! Deborah D

Jeremiah worked on my crypto transactions diligently and I have to say I am very very very pleased with the work that he and Cryptotaxgirl did! I researched a number of companies that offered these services to reconcile your transactions and many of them gave me the impression like I would be left with a huge bill. I am happy to report that not only did Cryptotaxgirl not do that, but I am extremely happy for the service I got with the price I paid. I will come back again in a heartbeat!

CryptoTaxGirl and Greg have been absolute lifesavers. I created a nightmare for myself by experimenting with a bunch of different wallets and swapping tokens like a maniac. Greg was able to reconcile that mess and I've been with CryptoTaxGirl ever since. I can't thank them enough.

I BOW DOWN with GRATITUDE to the Crypto Tax Girl Team. I was in such an overwhelming and unpleasant tax situation (both crypto AND fiat) and they helped me through every step with efficiency clarity, and competence. I feel truly comfortable with my tax situation for the first time in my life. I find Laura to be the smartest, clearest, most efficient, most trustworthy person I have ever come across in the CPA space, and her team has proved to be a reflection of that excellence. Thank you, so much, Laura, Justin, Bryan & Team!

I want to thank both Laura and Joe for their patience, guidance, wisdom, and commitment to helping me understand all of the tax issues associated with my crypto investments. This is a company with a well-earned reputation for going above and beyond any service experiences I have had in the past. Joe did a wonderful job onboarding me and his attention to detail brought me great comfort in an unfamiliar space. I would give him 10 stars if I could! Thank you!

I have been a DIY Turbotax filer for several decades but turned to Laura Walter's team at Crypto Tax Girl for help with my return last year. They discovered an error on my previous returns which saved me over $50,000 when corrected. Communication and service was excellent.

I highly recommend Crypto Tax Girl. I worked with two fine gentleman: Stephen & Bryan who made this stressful and complex task a cinch. My taxes were a mess and them sorted the whole mess out and filed successfully. They saved me time, money and an incredible amount of stress. Many thanks Laura and the CTG team!!!

Justin Shinabarger took care of my account which included dealings with the now bankrupt Celsius. He communicated frequently with email, Vmail and via phone to complete my Crypto G/L in time for filing. He and Laura also provided input on loss classification based on the special circumstances around Celsius. I would highly recommend Justin at CryptoTaxGirl.
