Delivery issues killed it for me, mediocre steaks at best, not worth the price tag
First delivery: busted box all the c02 was released, steaks were partiallly thawed. Second delivery: Lost in transit, never technically delivered. Support tried to "make this up to me" by basically re-ordering the same box and delivering it without faster shipping. Had to ask for faster shipping. Which I shouldn't of had to, got here this week, but 6 days late because the second shipping was never going to arrive. At most got a 35 dollar credit for my trouble. Steak was OK. some were as described, others were not. One pack of two fillets came as one bigger steak, didn't even look like a filet. Some filets looked like filets, but were tough like they werent, didn't make any sense. This week's ribeyes, tough to chew and not at all what we expect from expensive ribeyes. Even the wagyu steak I got that I used points for, was really chewy for what I would expect with that. The second box that finally arrived (the replacement) most steaks were allmost all thawed out, despite us taking it inside the second it arrived and opening it. This experience was terrible. I used to order steaks from Australia, which you would think could be worse being from outside the US - but, it was a hundred times better than this. I paid a lot of money for this hassle, and I plan on putting in my reviews anywhere I can to educate others about this experience as I would of never tried this if someone else had left the same experience as a review.

Chris — this is a bad first impression and I'm not going to try to talk you out of it. Two things went wrong at once, and neither is on you. The delivery failures were real: your first box arrived damaged with the dry ice gone, and your second box was handed to a regional carrier that never delivered it at all. That carrier was the common thread in a cluster of failures like yours, and we've since stopped using them entirely — every box in your state now ships UPS. Your replacement should also have gone out expedited automatically instead of you having to ask for it; that's a gap in how we handle a re-ship after a lost box, and we're fixing it. On the steaks: a pack that arrives as one piece instead of two, and ribeyes that eat tough, are things we want to see. I'd like to make the whole experience right rather than leave it at a credit. Please email [email protected] with "Trustpilot – Chris" in the subject and ask for it to come to me directly. — Jeremy, Crowd Cow
