We visited the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Chesapeake, VA off of Portsmouth Blvd. for lunch. The hostess was friendly and was prompt in seating us. The server "Makyla" was right there to take our order. She was friendly, courteous and answered all questioned we had regarding the menu. Our food arrived shortly except the corn muffins. They were baking a fresh batch. Everything was as ordered and we were satisfied with the overall experience.

I haven't been here for about a year, I was delighted by my server Belle, in Battle Creek, our food was really good, coffee was excellent. You can always find fault but you can always stay home 🏡. I was happy as a clam to enjoy a great meal... everyone did a great job.... thanks can't wait to try campfire chicken.......

I ordered the family meal for my daughter on 7/25/2024 at the Bremen, GA store. Overall, the meal was good except for the green beans. I had actually requested pinto beans instead. My daughter told me that the green beans had a strong taste of cigarette smoke and they couldn't eat them. Since the dining room is smoke free, shouldn't the kitchen also be smoke free?

Bridget is a fantastic waitress. Alisha is a wonderful hostess/cashier. The food is delicious. Such a great busy window to look out while eating. I felt the country gravy needed more flavor. Also, the sausage and my chicken fried steak was deep fried which made the flavor not quite there. But, because of Bridget, and Alisha, we will be back to try more items. Such a fun store to look around in.

Service was great but they always seem to leave something out. I ordered the turkey and dressing special and never did get the sweet potato casserole or biscuits it says comes with. It was equivalent to a tv dinner.

We have always enjoyed the Cracker barrel in Altoona Pa. however very disappointed as we traveled to Ga., through Va. and Tenn. to find they serve beer and wine, will not go back, aren't there enough bars around that they have to turn cracker barrel into one.
