Can’t get a good seal

While I was impressed with the price of the items I purchased, I was very frustrated with customer service not being responsive. I was having trouble Getting into my account and tried several times to contact someone at customer service to assist me and never once received help.

So...dealing with CPapdirect is painless enough. I feel the products are over priced and delivery takes too long. I had a problem with the website inadvertently changing the size that I ordered and had to redo the order. Better pay attention and double check the order before submitting. What else it might change? They seem to have a problem with their system. Otherwise I have my product and it’s working.

Hi Larry - I'm terribly sorry for the issues with the website. I will definitely pass along the message to our tech team. As for the price of the products, we are handcuffed a bit by the manufacturer as to what we can charge, but I can assure you we do our best to pass along whatever discounts we can. On shipping, the order was placed on 1/23, shipped on 1/23 and was delivered to you on 1/25. I'd say that is a pretty quick turn around.
Just received the CPAP mask and headgear so I can't rate these. However, I would like to express my thoughts regarding CPAPDirect. They appear to have shipped the mask promptly but sent it via USPS and it arrived about a week later than their original delivery date. For something this critical, this isn't acceptable. Change delivery carriers...

Hi Dennis - I just looked at your order and USPS Priority Mail was selected when you checked out. We did not change the shipping method. Normally, Priority Mail gets a package across the country in 2-3 business days, but with COVID19, all carriers are struggling to move packages. I'm truly sorry it arrived later than expected. Greg
I received my headgear, it is the right one. My question is who should I be ordering from, you or Aerocare? Have never had to pay with Aerocare, and you charged me 30.00 for the headgear? Do I need to return for a refund?

Hi Sandra - I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that we are part of AeroCare and run the online, cash-pay business. You may submit the receipt from us for the headgear to your insurance for reimbursement or return it to us for a refund (as long as it has not been opened). Going forward, you will want to reach out to your Aerocare branch to make sure you are on a regular supply schedule.
The adapter chamber for So Clean does not have a gasket. It should be sold with a gasket because you have to have one for the ResMed to work. Otherwise, you have to use an old one that is six months old with possible bacteria over that time frame.

Frank - we feel your pain on this one. We've tried to convince SoClean to include that gasket in the A10 Adapter, but they refuse. To make it even more difficult, ResMed does not even sell that gasket part. The good thing, is, the SoClean 2 cleaning process will sanitize that older gasket once you start to use it.
I continue to receive solicitations for ordering supplies that are "paid for by my insurance". When placing this order, I was required to provide a credit card number without any reference to what portion of the order would be paid by insurance. Would like to get clarification on what portion of the supplies are covered by insurance (essence)? Thank you in advance for your response.

Hello Thaddeus - we are a cash pay only website and we have no way of knowing what items your insurance might cover. There are just too many plans out there for us to even make an estimate. Most customers check with their insurance company, then place their orders accordingly. I wish we could be of more help. I was disappointed when my SoClean arrived and the adapter that was supposed to be free was not included. I contacted them and they corrected the problem.
