After 3 years of use for fishing, the rubber nosepads on my Blackfins both detached rendering the sunglasses unusable. Not an uncommon defect from what I’ve seen. That being unacceptable on its own. I tried contacting Costa customer service here in Australia to source some new nose pads and received no assistance whatsoever. I’ve realised since Luxottica took over distribution of Costa Sunglasses, the after sales service here in Australia is non existent. No spare parts or repairs available. Staying well away from Costa now and giving Smith Optics a go. Much better after sales support, what you expect from any premium sunglasses brand!
