Extremely Disappointing Experience – Product Misrepresented and Refund Withheld
I am writing this review to warn other customers about my experience with this company. I purchased a product from this company believing, based on how it was advertised and displayed online, that I was purchasing an air conditioner. However, when the product arrived, it became clear that it was not a conventional air-conditioning unit but a fan with hot- and cold-air settings. This was not the product I believed I was purchasing and, consequently, it was of no practical use to me. I immediately contacted the company and explained the situation. I was told that, if I was not satisfied, I could return the product. However, because the company is based in China and I am located in the UK, I was required to pay the international return shipping costs myself. The cost of returning the item was substantial and placed an unreasonable financial burden on me. Rather than resolving the matter by providing a refund, the company initially offered me a $20 discount to keep the product. After I explained that the item was completely unsuitable for my needs, they increased the offer to $40. I declined both offers because I did not want to keep a product that I had not intended to purchase. I therefore returned the item at my own expense. **Almost three months have now passed, and I have still not received my refund.** Despite contacting the company, my money has not been returned and I have been left out of pocket for both the original purchase and the expensive return postage. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. Customers should be able to rely on product descriptions and advertising being clear and accurate, and they should also expect a refund to be processed promptly when a returned item has been received. I strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing from this company **research the product thoroughly, read independent customer reviews, and carefully examine the company's return and refund policy before placing an order**. I regret that I did not do this before making my purchase. I am posting this review so that other consumers can make an informed decision and avoid experiencing the same problems I have encountered.
