What is my experience with Conversation Exchange? I’m writing this based on my own experience. 1. There are lots of fake profiles; members claim to be from all sorts of countries, but the information doesn’t add up. 2. For many, it’s not really about the language but about wanting to find out everything about a person – so it’s more like dating. 3. Racism also occurs here. 4. The response time of the moderators and administrators is so slow that, when a conflict escalates, it isn’t nipped in the bud by the relevant authorities. 5. Unfortunately, other users also turn a blind eye to racism here.
