I’m sorry for the rough start and the frustration you’ve described. A shipment with duplicate, damaged, and missing books isn’t acceptable, and while we corrected it, we understand that doesn’t make the experience okay. I’m also concerned you felt customer service was annoyed and that it took multiple tries to reach someone knowledgeable, this isn’t the standard we expect. We’re also going to check the lecture recordings you mentioned and investigate the quality issues. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Our course content is built to align with VA DPOR's licensing requirements and approved course curriculum for the NRS credential, which does include the legal/regulatory framework you mentioned. That said, your point about adding more practical, phase-specific guidance on what a licensed home inspector should evaluate (beyond what the county already covers) is well taken, and we'll pass it along to our curriculum team for consideration in future updates. Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience that was caused after the package was in UPS’s possession. UPS noted the shipment was damaged and the books were lost in transit. While we carefully pack every order before it leaves our facility, we unfortunately have no control over issues once packages are in UPS’s hands. Our course is designed as a self-paced study tool so it may not be the best fit if you learn best with an instructor-led format. If you do prefer a classroom experience, our live class covers the same material, just in a guided, instructor-led format. Also, the highlighting guide is intended for students who purchase books without tabs and pre-highlighting, so they can quickly highlight their books and follow along more easily. The reason the course originally appeared under Rodney’s name is because the inquiry we received from you on May 2 listed Rodney’s name and email address. Since Rodney was the contact on that inquiry, the draft invoice and course enrollment were automatically created under his name. To clarify, the course is not assigned based on the credit card used. It’s assigned to the person listed as the inquirer/contact when the draft invoice is created. This has now been corrected, and the course has been updated to show your name.
