Closets By DesignReviews of closetsbydesign.com

We had the pleasure of working with Larissa Saanakorpi to re-design closet space and create new storage spaces. She was so easy to work with, professional, patient, listened to what we wanted, and made excellent suggestions. I highly recommend her; she is an asset to the company.

Our experience with Closets by Design was great. Tricia was very professional, knowledgeable and responsive to all our questions and concerns. She took our vision, made suggestions, and came up with the perfect design for us. Jeremy and JoJo did a wonderful job with the install. Thank you Tricia, Jeremy and JoJo.

We had a wonderful experience working with Larissa, who helped us custom design all the rooms in our home. She was incredibly patient throughout the process and took the time to understand our needs and preferences. Her expertise and attention to detail ensured that we got the perfect dimensions for each room - be it a bathroom, near the laundry, the bedrooms, or even a kitchen pantry. We were very pleased with the design experience and highly recommend working with Larissa for anyone looking to upgrade their storage.

It is my opinion that the Birmingham Office of this company is terrible. They completed a poor project and not on time. Tried to charge my credit card before work had been completed. Sent a worker to my home that tried to intimidate my wife while I was away. There are other that perform the same capability at a better rate and are probably more trustworthy.

I was wanting to let CLOSET DESIGN know what a great young man that they hired! His name is Landis. He did a fabulous job. I want to thank Landis and Coset Design for everythang. Linda Kuker

The entire process was awful. The 'designer' who came didn't know how to measure my closet, and didn't know how to design a solution. She promised more storage space, and I got far less. A week before install, they sent me a new design that had been created because there was a problem with the original design, according to the office. they were unable to fully explain the issue, and the drawings they sent me were so hard to read I had to guess at what was changing. I asked the customer service girl if I would still end up with more usable storage, if my outlets would still be accessible, if this would impact the functionality I had been promised, and she assured me that these minor changes were necessary to give me the functionality I wanted. So in the end, I don't know if the original design was poor, or if the updated design was at fault. Now that they're installed, the 'custom' closets don't fit my closet - the original designer measured wrong (instead of measuring the wall, she measured the front of the existing closet fixtures, so each wall lost about 12" square in the corners), so there are big gaps between closet fixtures. I lost hanging space, both vertically and horizontally. I lost shelving space too. They overcharged me for non-functional features (pull down bars that can't pull down because the designer mis-measured). And one of the door knobs is a different color than the rest. Closets By Design told me this was all my fault for signing off on the design. And they promised to send me a matching door knob, but never did. Zero customer service. Through all of these problems, their customer service people yelled at me on the phone multiple times. Please, find another closet service. Don't use Closets By Design. I paid $14K for a medium sized walk-in closet and now I need to have my new closet redone (by another company, of course) to make it functional.

I am a repeat customer and was very happy that Tricia Enos was again my designer for this job. She listens and is very helpful in steering you in the right direction. She is always available to respond to questions you might have after your appointment. I love her personality. I definitely recommend Closet by Designs and if you get Tricia you scored.

I meet with designer Tricia Enos. She was great to work with and very personable. She took exact measurements asked about my needs and designed the perfect walk in closet. I would work with her again.
