Strong, unpleasant odor. Not safe for in the eye, so not confident about using on and around eyelid.

Thank you for your feedback. The scent is a tea tree oil scent. It's appreciation is different between people. The Cliradex Team
I received a sample box of 3 individually packaged Cliradex towelettes. I tried the wipes with eager expectation. Unfortunately, there was only one thing I liked about the product-the convenience of the individualized wipes. The smell reminded me of fingernail polish remover & therefore nothing I wanted even remotely close to my eyes. The directives state that there may be a powerful "cool, refreshing menthol feeling";; which I felt but only after a strong burning sensation. There are no natural ingredients listed to confirm that this product is...as it is advertised. I am always on the look for an "all natural & effective way to clean lashes, eyelids & face" but, this is not going be it...ever. Grateful for the experience. Grateful I didn't have to spend money on product to try it.

Thank you for your feedback. I want to reassure you there is nothing wrong with the product. Cliradex normally has a fresh, cooling sensation. If you are experiencing a "burning" sensation this may be because the skin is compromised somehow. A useful analogy would be like putting alcohol on a wound. Here are a few tips if you have sensitive skin: 1. Avoid using Cliradex right after bathing. Skin pores may be exfoliated and are more exposed than usual. 2. Wipe gently with Cliradex. 3. Avoid direct contact with your eyes. Keep eyelids gently closed when using Cliradex. We recommend that during the application: 1 - Closes eyes firmly without squinting too much. 2 - Gently wipe Cliradex across the lid and surrounding skin. Don't try to press too much on your eyelid skin or into the eye's corner (caruncle). 3 - Allow Cliradex to air dry briefly (30s) before opening eyes. If your results don't improve, then please do not continue to use Cliradex as you may have a skin allergy to essential oils. The shipment was fast. The reason I am giving the two stars is that I felt burn under my eye when I applied the foam to clean my eyelashes. The reason may be alergic reaction. I did not use that again after the burn.

Cliradex is very effective at treating blepharitis. However the formula is so strong it burned my eyes, to the point I had to rinse my eyes with cold water to stop the burn. I dont know how safe that is, so I discontinued use.

Product is good, however, it took over two weeks to receive it. I had to call to inquire why it took so long, but they had no answers for me. I ordered again from Amazon, had it in two days, same price..

I was really looking forward to using this, but when I did it made my eye lids feel more like they were burning instead of a tingling feeling. I had to wash it off. Maybe my eye lids are just very sensitive. Thanks for letting me try though.

A tingling sensation is a common occurrence with Cliradex, but a burning sensation is not. • If you're feeling a burning sensation, your skin may be compromised or wounded. Do not use Cliradex. It may sting similar to putting alcohol on a wound. The same is possible if you use Cliradex on already irritated or open skin. • If you develop symptoms such as itching, swelling, or excessive dryness, this may indicate an allergic reaction/hypersensitivity to T40 (especially if they have a known sensitivity to fragrances). In any case, you should rinse-off and discontinue the use of the product and consult your physician if any of these symptoms develop. While our products are natural, safe, and effective, we realize that some people are allergic to essential oils. If you continue to experience a reaction, please discontinue the use of Cliradex. While Cliradex may be fine for some, it was way to strong for me! The menthol burned so badly I had to sit with a cold compress on my eyes and keep rinsing and gently wiping my eyes to get the burning to stop. I don't know what the purpose of Cliradex truly is ? I thought maybe a eye wipe for make up removal or just to revive tired eyes? But, a cold wash cloth does the same thing.
