BEST SERVICE!!! Currently, I am out of the country and I needed to renew my license and I was mandated to take a vision test. While searching online for vision tests, I found, Cleared to Drive. I didn't feel comfortable taking an online vision test and wondered if I would be given an accurate result. However, i noticed they didn't charge unless you passed, so I figured i had nothing to lose. I booked a time and a man came on the screen. He was pleasant, professional and told me exactly how the process worked. We worked out the 12 feet away from the screen and I was seen by a doctor. The doctor was so nice and the test was quick. Once i passed, i was told exactly how to renew with the DMV and I received everything via email. Not only, do I hate eye exams, but also, long lines at the DMV. With this service, I received a headache free vision test, in the comfort of my own home. Don't hesitate to use this service!!! I usually don't leave reviews, but I was very impressed by Cleared to Drive. Don't hesitate!

Do not go to the DMV. Do this instead. If you value your time at minimum wage, you will lose money by going to the DMV vs. paying the $45 to renew with these guys. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I was nervous to try this and I'm glad I did! The entire appointment literally took 3 minutes and as soon as I paid I received my temporary license instantly.

I found this company for a friend who is presently housebound because of a terrible medical situation but needed to renew her driver's license and required a vision test. She simply couldn't commute at present to take her test so I looked for options online and I found this provider. She told me the process was seamless from start to finish, the examiner was lovely and informative, and the NYS DMV accepted the results and she was sent her new license recently. If Covid rates go up again, I imagine this will be helpful to those who don't want to risk infection at the DMV or eye doctor's (and certainly immuno-compromised people and those with other outlying risk factors might require this presently even with covid rates low at present). Also disabled, elderly, super-busy, and/or agoraphobic people can also benefit. I think the company is licensed to provide vision tests in NY and NC. Grateful the company exists for those in need!
