Decent software, but they continually increase prices with little to no notice — sometimes by as much as $100 per month — and expect customers to simply accept it since switching providers is difficult. On top of that, they will go out of their way to avoid paying any referals.

First did not get any response on email. Later when I reached out again got helped soon.

** UPDATE ** These issues eventually were solved once I was connected with a senior engineer. They went through our experience and admitted fault that our ticket shouldn't have been passed to different agents and that this would have been resolved much quicker with one agent/engineer overlooking it. Furthermore, they have offered a discount for 2 months based on our experience which is appreciated. We are happy with the outcome, but this will be dependent on how they treat future support tickets. ------- We left CIN7 for DEAR around 4 years ago and it was the best decision we ever made. Needless to say, it was not a pleasant surprise when CIN7 purchased DEAR. After 6 months, they doubled the cost of the platform and justified it with all these new features (zero of which applied to our needs). We had no issues with DEAR and now we are facing critical bugs frequently. In the past few weeks I have set up 4 support calls (all close to midnight in my timezone because their support is internationally based) and they haven't resolved one issue. They continue to pass on complex solutions for me to do myself, which has taken me hours and hours, and nothing has been resolved. I have asked for credits/refunds on the subscription costs until they can provide a functioning platform, yet they just ignore the requests. For some perspective, the issue we are facing is that we created a new location for manufacturing, and since then the system can't allocate stock from our warehouse location even though the system is saying there is plenty of stock to allocate/pick from (which absolutely should not affect the warehouse location). Their engineers have looked into it and have no clue how to fix it, so we are left having to manually process orders via our website which is throwing all our reporting and invoicing as DEAR/CIN7 can't process these orders.

As you will read in multiple other reviews the customer service is horrible. The product itself it fine for what we need it for however we feel totally out on a limb when an issue arises that needs a quick fix.

The train is very poor for on-boarding new staff. The engineering of the software is very poor in being able to connect with other softwares. Trouble shooting problems within the software is difficult, no one really seems to know the answers and it takes a long time for answers, half the times it's left unresolved or you are left to solve it yourself.

We had a great onboarding with Kshitij Sachdeva. Let's say it isn't always easy coming from one ERP system and transferring to another, as these different systems will never completely match and work arounds are necessary, but with the help of Tej we managed to get through these struggles and onboard fast and efficiently. Unfortunately the moment we were onboarded and were assigned to the general support team things went down hill. We run into multiple issues (bugs), as well as limitations in the system that are not good for a growing business. If you issue a support case with the Cin7 support team, you can wait at least three months to get a response. Bug fixing takes long, while they influence the daily business and administration. Also, the response: 'that is not possible in our system' on very basic needs (such as creating 20+ price tiers), is quite disappointing.

It's been an emotional roller coaster. I will try and keep our feedback brief and summarise our experience. Firstly we are a small business trying to get ourselves ready to take bigger steps in to growth by implementing systems that can simplify and reduce overheads moving forward. I chose CIN7 as it ticked many of the boxes we were looking for and the promises made on the initial consultation reassured us that the on-boarding process would be taken largely out of our hands. On-boarding is where the trouble started. Largely due to the incompatibility and complexity of our existing systems the amount of time and man hours requited to get the data ready on our side has been enormous. So much so that planned "go live" dates were pushed time and time again. I found working with the support team in different time zones further complicated things. Whist our on boarder Atul (more on him later) worked to our time, most of his support did not, so if there was a task he needed to outsource we would have to wait 24-48 hours for it to be resolved before we could continue moving forward. Due to the extraordinary amount of work that was required for us to carry out and issues with personal circumstances we had to take a brake from the on-boarding process. During this time, CIN7 deleted much of the work we had complied. This resulted in a complaint being raised and a consultation period to agree if and how we could move forward. Once the complaint reached the right hands, it was dealt with excellently. David (CFO) and I agreed a plan to move forward and work commenced to get us back on track. Additional resource was provided and progression was made. We are now finally processing our orders through CIN7, it is not 100% yet but it is certainly a great improvement over our previous systems and we are starting to see the value in it. The ongoing support since being passed away from Atul is slower than I had hoped, but the help documents and resources are pretty good and we have resolved most issues ourselves. With regards to Atul Sharma, I want it to be known he is just excellent. Without him, I would have given up on CIN7 and gone elsewhere. He always went above and beyond his job description and he has always provided excellent service! There are many reasons how our experience could have been better or easier. My advice to anyone thinking of joining CIN7 is: Dedicate someone in your office to handle the process and expect them to solely work on your transition. If you are migrating from another system expect to have to collate and manage your data yourself. This is something we were lead to believe would be handled more by CIN7 Keep track of the on-boarding process and ensure follow up meetings are booked in advance. We are yet to get the e-commerce side of things up and running (Magento 2 link) and I hope this will be resolved in the forthcoming weeks. Its been a tough 12 months but I feel positive for the future. Fingers crossed our experience will continue to improve.

Don't use this system for dropship orders as Cin7 have not included that in their normal setup. You have to use a fix which is time consuming and badly made
