Chris Coffee ServiceReviews of chriscoffee.com

I purchased an espresso machine, a Mazzer mini grinder,& multiple accessories in 2001, literally 25½ years ago. Since then I've purchased multiple parts to repair the espresso machine vs buying a replacement machine. Without the incredible over the phone support from the service department, that wouldn't have been possible. Even though I moved from FL to CA, meaning there are multiple vendors nearby to choose from, how could I justify NOT buying my next espresso machine etc from Chris Coffee?! Having been in sales and sales management for 40 plus years, I recognize & appreciate the value of customer service after the sale, & that's exactly what's available with Chris Coffee. Plus for decades Chris has heavily influenced the manufacturing of espresso machines to overcome short comings in their design. So often times you're not getting an "off the shelf", mass produced espresso machine. That input is obviously influenced heavily by Roger's well led service department through seeing where the machines they're setting up pre delivery or repairing could benefit from changing the design. I highly recommend Chris Coffee.

I’m reading the negative reviews and they just don’t correlate at all with my experiences over 20 years dealing with Chris Coffee. They mention, for instance, machines that are less than a year old and Chris ignores them. Which makes no sense to me because they warrantee their machines from 1 to 2 years. I’ve had multiple failures of internal components for of the two high end espresso machines I’ve bought for them, which is entirely normal because it’s simply what happens for Italian machines, at least in my experience. The key point is that they’re super responsive and ship the needed servos or valves to replace the failed ones very quickly. And they will spend the time on the phone and over email to ensure the user can get the machines back up and running with the new parts. Mark is super knowledgeable on everything they sell and Roger knows it call regarding service. Aside from the espresso machines and accessories I’ve bought from them I’ve purchased a few hundred pounds at this point of coffee. It’s delicious, always fresh, and never failed to impress guests. People who’ve never been able to drink coffee without milk routinely enjoy straight espresso pulled from their machines with their coffee. They’re excellent, pure and simple.

I bought a La Marzocco Linea Mini R and a Ceado E37S grinder from Mark B. at Chris’ Coffee and he provided excellent service every step of the way. I knew the machine was going to take a while because it was built in Florence at the factory and shipped directly to me. Mark kept me in the loop all along the way. The grinder shipped right away but the machine was about a 4 month wait. However, along the route the machine was stolen from a warehouse in TN before it was delivered to me. This is where Mark and Chris’ Coffee really helped. Mark got in touch with La Marzocco and, long story short, they fast-tracked a new Linea Mini R for me. As I understand it, they took the next white machine (the color I ordered) and sent it to me when it was built. I appreciated the service from both La Marzocco and Chris’ Coffee. I’ve had the machine and the grinder for a year and I wanted to get to know them both better before I left a review. I definitely would buy another La Marzocco. It’s a phenomenal machine and makes coffee lightyears ahead of that at the big green and white mermaid. The Ceado is nothing short of a tank. I cannot stress highly enough that if you are purchasing a decent espresso machine, you need an equally good grinder to make it worthwhile. Mark provided a discount (this was pre-tariff) for the Linea Mini and I got a stellar machine at the best price.

My husband bought a Quickmill Vetrano 2b espresso machine from Chris’Coffee. From the extra accessories they provided, to the info they shared before hand, to the amazingly careful packing of this very heavy unit, to the post delivery support, I highly recommend this company for an important purchase. It’s a long way from the West to East Coast where we live vis a vis Chris’ Coffee. They made it seem seamless.

I first reached out to Chris’ Coffee a few years ago for a quote on a Lelit Bianca, but our business got too busy to justify the expense just for a direct line. Even so, every time I had a question, Mark was incredibly patient and helpful — never pushy or annoyed that I wasn’t ready to buy. He always tried to get me fair prices and discounts when other vendors just brushed me off. Fast forward a few years and I was finally ready to dive in. I ordered a Lelit Mara X V2, along with a grinder and other accessories — everything shipped overnight. This time, Michael helped me since Mark was out, but he still made sure Mark got the credit and kept me updated. It was a genuinely old-school experience — real people, real help, no hard sales pressure. Even after the purchase, when I decided to return the grinder, Mark responded immediately and offered a full refund with zero hassle. They didn’t carry the grinder I wanted to switch to, but I’ll absolutely buy from them again. In fact, they’re the first place I check whenever I need anything coffee-related.

Chris Coffee staff, such as Tim Catalfamo and Joe Blowers, always help at the 100% level when it's needed and for how long it's needed, and for that reason that's where I buy parts for my Izzo Alexa Duetto IV, when they're needed. Daniel Lang

Mark from Chris Coffee was great. Very patient and answered all of my questions about the Ceado E37s. Purchase the grinder on Friday & received today. My new go to for all coffee related products.

I want to thank both of you for your extensive coaching and patience bringing both of my expensive espresso machines back to life. My original reason in 2013 and 2014 in ordering these machines from Chris' Coffee is because of the history of the company, its location in Albany and having spent 25 years in Western New York myself, marrying a girl from Buffalo. I figured I was in good hands. Awesome is a word I am still not comfortable with, but it certainly applies to you both as well as the company.
