Misleading advertising, ignored cancellation and continued taking my money
I signed up because the advertising led me to believe I was subscribing to Claude AI. It was not Claude. I realised this almost immediately and emailed Chatbox AI less than one hour later to cancel and request a refund. They confirmed in writing that my subscription had been cancelled and that I would not be charged again. Despite this, they failed to refund the original payment and then charged me another £20 in June and £20 in July. I eventually received a second cancellation confirmation, but only after £55 had been taken altogether. I have now had to raise three separate disputes with my bank to recover my money. A company that misleads customers, confirms a cancellation and then continues charging them cannot be trusted. Absolutely disgraceful experience. Avoid.
