I used to purchase models regularly, but recently the search results have become flooded with AI-generated designs that are low quality and uploaded dozens of times with only minor variations. It became impossible to find what I’m actually looking for. There should really be limits on mass uploads, as well as filters for AI-generated content (that actually work) :(

I have been purchasing models on CGTrader for many years and have always been satisfied with the overall quality and reliability of the platform. Unfortunately, this recent purchase was a clear exception. The model set I bought had several critical quality issues that were not visible from the preview images or mentioned in the description. The topology was uneven, the materials were incomplete or poorly structured, and important details that are normally expected in this price range were missing. These issues made the asset unusable in a professional workflow. I contacted CGTrader support and provided a detailed explanation referencing their own refund policy. The response I received did not address the actual issues, and after my follow-up message I received no reply at all. I hope CGTrader improves both their quality control and their support process, as transparent product information is essential for professional users. My past experiences with the platform have been positive, which makes this situation all the more disappointing.

Mails qui atterrissent dans ma boîte de réception alors que je n'ai jamais rien eu à faire avec eux. Je n'ai pas non plus de lien avec le modélisme et ce qu'ils proposent ni de près ni de loin.

Site has gone down the gutter. I can't even make a purchase. I tried to buy models and I kept getting errors saying card details are incorrect. I tried all my saved cards which work fine and still the same thing. I reached out to support who told me they fixed it. I try again and STILL the same error. I contact them again and they told me I've been blocked and to just try again in the future. What kind of support is this? For what its worth, all cards are in my name, all work, I've even used said cards on CgTrader over YEARS and spent THOUSANDS with no issue so it's clearly not a fraud. It seems there site has gone to crap. I bought the models from another website the seller had them on, so they just missed out on my $500 purchase (and more future ones) due to garbage payment processors and support.

Broken website. Checkout does not work - sign-in does not work, guest checkout does not work. Bugs?

Used to be good for models on discount, but now you can't buy anything with a discount unless you spend $30. So basically, it defeats the whole point of buying cheap models on discount when it forces you to spend more. Horrendous business decision.

Les modèles 3D sont plutôt bien, mais le service est vraiment nul. Entre les "suspicion de fraud" à chaque paiement et les promos douteuses presque illégales je comprend pas comment ils font pour être aussi nul en commerce. Maj. il faut savoir que je l’utilise rarement et aujourd’hui alors que ça fait bien 3 mois que j’y suis pas allé, je ne peut plus aller sur le site, j’ai constamment l’erreur "too many request". Et ce sur mes autres pc, autres réseaux. Tout le site contient des erreurs etc etc. Si tout marche pour vous, vous avez de la chance !

Buyers, subsequently classified as "fraudulent users," downloaded 10 of our models in all the provided formats. CGtrader deleted all our profits from these sales, thus labeling them "fraudulent users." So, CGtrader sold 10 models for free, and we're footing the bill. How could you have allowed all our models to be downloaded if these buyers were fraudulent and the payments were false? Aren't you insured for these cases? Isn't that your job, your part of the contract that binds you and us? You insure and secure our sales? We are victims of fraud for which YOU are responsible and perhaps even complicit! Furthermore, NO EMAIL was sent to us to warn us, or even to keep us informed of the consequences, since you MUST take the necessary measures. We are therefore requesting full compensation for the damages.
