Beware of the very strict cancelation policy! Read the fine print before booking! Most rentals offer a full refund if you cancel over 30 days out but with Carolina Cabin Rentals, you will pay 25% if you cancel after 24 hours of your booking and 50% if you cancel within 30 days of your booking. Highway robbery!

Proceed with caution with this company. We rented a home on Eagles Nest for 30 days. We spent over $14K. On day two we noticed the A/C was not cooling well. We reported it and they sent a "handy many" to check it out, not a certified tech. The said it was fixed. 5 more visits later and being told we are the problem not the A/C, they finally sent someone with the proper testing equipment and found a freon leak. The maintenance guy apoloigized for not havin the proper equipment on the other visits. Carolina Cabin Rentals did not apologize. There were no sceens on the windows so when we opened them to cool off at night, misqiotos and moths were landing on our faces in bed. We were unfomfortable for 3 out of our 4 weeks due to gross neglagence. The worst! We asked for a discount and they did not respond. Also, we got there and found the Ice maker was not working. Thier response 10 days later was to change the water filter. Seriously! Of coure we never had an ice maker, so they had to keep bringing us ice. This company ruined our vacation. Next season we will be sure to use another company for our 30 day rental.

I was looking at ski in ski out places to stay and Condo at Pinnacle Inn came up ! It’s definitely not that , it’s across the main road you would have to walk a quarter mile cross a main road and walk behind peoples houses to get to the slopes . There is some kind a of white stains on coach , red stains on the pillow in the bedroom, mold in the bathroom !! Definitely would not recommend!! I have pictures but not sure how to post them .

Hi Sean, First off as we told you earlier we do apologize for any cleaning discrepancies. We did send the cleaners back out to rectify and refunded you the entire cleaning fee. The gist of your dis satisfaction lies in that you failed to see on our website when you were booking that we stated that some of our ski in /ski out homes are not directly on the slopes but with in "reasonable walking distance". If that be the case those homes are clearly noted with photos in the property listing. You expected to be moved to another property thus denying the owner of the home you rented any revenue and reducing greatly any chance of a last minute booking. This in essence would be punishing the owner for for what is basically a failure in thoroughly reading the description when booking. Sean we never want any guest to have anything less than a perfect experience but there is some responsibility on the consumer when entering into a rental contract to ensure you are completely satisfied with what you are booking and understand all aspects of the rental. We sincerely regret that your experience was not what you expected and we feel we tried everything with in reason to assist you.
We just returned from a stay at Beech Bum and we had a blast. Two adults and 5 teenagers and the house had plenty of room. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes and silverware, the beds were nice, plenty of towels and linen. The hot tub was amazing, sauna is a great addition and the mud room is great for snowy boots!! The location is great!! About 5 mins or less from skiing, pizza and Fred’s. We will definitely stay again. I wasn’t sure about the house because of previous ratings but we give it 5 stars. The only thing we emailed the company about was the living room tv - we couldn’t get a channel on it but there were 5 other working TVs in the house.

Terrible communication!!!! Our cabin stay was during the week, last week, and I am STILL waiting to hear back from management!! The house we paid for relied completely on propane and when we checked into the cabin the propane tank was completely empty!! We had no heat and no hot water!! It was more than 24 hours when we were sent 3 space heaters, one of which stopped working after 2 minutes of use! We did not have BASIC amenities until 22 hours prior to our checkout!! All I have received is a handful of apologies from remote reservation staff!! I have sent numerous emails and made multiple phone calls about speaking to management and I have yet to hear back from anyone about any kind of refund! The cabin I paid for was not the cabin my family received!!

Hi Amy thank you for your feedback. Our sincerest apologies for your experiences at the property during your recent stay. We have spoken in depth with the propane provider and it appears that a ball was dropped on the auto fill scheduling that occurred with the service provider, still no excuse and we apologize for that. I do see that a refund for your rental rate occurred and was processed prior to your review, and our management was in contact with you regarding this as well. Its our fondest hope that considering the refund and our efforts to reach out via email will restore your faith in our processes going forward with your future reservation.
The cabin was beautiful and very well appointed. Great location. The photos & descriptions on the site were very true to life! Instructions for accessing the cabin once received were very clear. It would be better if emails were received on a consistent and timely basis (per the ranges given in the site). If you also provide the cleaning crew-I would suggest they may want to pay a bit more attention to dusting in the bedrooms & light fixture in the dining room (lots of cobwebs). Key areas such as bathrooms and kitchen were very clean.

Absolutely DEPLORABLE conditions of this rental. For the STEEP price we were charged It is HORRIBLE value you actually get. The windows were broken and the door was broken and the dishwasher was broken. There was mold in the bathroom there was mold in the hot tub. One of the bedroom lights wouldn’t even turn on so we couldn’t use the bedroom and we couldn’t use the bathroom. The heat was not turned on when we got there and barely worked during our stay. It was absolutely freezing. The one door barely closed and the lock was broken. UNSAFE. We weren’t given an entry code until AFTER our arrival. We weren’t given the Wi-Fi. There was no Wi-Fi to be found in the rental, which caused a very dangerous situation, considering we had no service. The floor of the living room was dirty when we got there. It absolutely was NOT CLEAN for Covid, so they put our health in direct risk of exposure. Worst rental ever. Dirty unsafe and stealing money. I have pictures and videos to prove everything! Absolutely disappointed in the condition of the rental and the lack of communication from the company. I feel my money was stolen from me.

Hi Bailey Thank you for the feedback. Your experience was not in line with our standards nor our policies. You were refunded over 400.00 for the inconveniences you encountered. As we said earlier in our correspondence each issue was brought to the attention of our Quality Control Supervisor for immediate investigation and rectification. We really regret that you waited to report anything until after your departure, we would have wanted to rectify anything we could in conjunction with the refund to have possibly made your stay a bit more enjoyable
$400 refund for a cabin we paid over $4500 for 4 nights. That’s what was offered when we walked in to find the cabin INFESTED with flies. All we asked was to fix the the issue by transferring us to a new cabin or a refund for 2 nights since we no longer wanted to stay there. I have never stayed in a place so disgusting. DEAD flies in every corner and at least 10 in each room buzzing around while we’re sleeping. Won’t book here in the future, I’ll try a different, cleaner company to rent from. USE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

We do regret that your initial experience failed to meet your expectations. We were in contact with you on multiple occasions and you were told several times we could not move you in that we were fully occupied in all properties that would house a group of your size. We attempted to rectify the situation by offering to send a cleaner over to remove the flies as well as set up cluster fly traps that are installed on the floor to ceiling windows in upper areas that make it child safe. We explained to you that the flies were Cluster Flies and are common in log home construction homes. They have day hatchings that occur during unseasonably warm days. You consistently ignored our offers and based on that as well as the photos you sent it was determined that the refunded amount was a commiserate offer based on the event.
