I got a quote online paid £215 then had to wait for a call for the insurance to go live when I was called back the quote went to over £500 plus the £215 I already paid this was only the first payment then they took £125 for cancellation even tho the insurance didn’t go live so I was never insured be careful it’s a scam

I will say I forgot to cancel my subscription, only needed one car VIN lookup, and was charged for 4 months unknowingly. Luckily I caught one month and called about fraud, and was told about my subscription. Rather than issue a month refund, they gave me the entire 4 month period back. This company is driven by good customer service first and then money afterwards.

I accidentally dropped my key fob into a puddle and feared it was ruined. Car Expert calmly guided me through each step how to safely dry it out remove the battery and test it afterward. I followed their instructions and avoided having to replace the entire unit. Most importantly they explained why rushing to use it while still damp could cause permanent damage. I was buying a used car for my wife. Before finalizing the deal I checked the VIN through Car Expert. They found the mileage had been rolled back. The seller started making excuses but I walked away. What a save.

I kept smelling gasoline inside the cabin but couldn’t figure out why. Car Expert advised checking the fuel rail connections. Turns out there was a small leak I had completely missed. Fixed it before it became dangerous.
